Excellent adhesive and wide tape
This tape works great for me, is really wide and easy to use. I used for my u-haul boxes they are heavy about 40 to 50 pounds.

Works for me! ππ»π
For the most part, I'm very happy with this packing-tape! I can tell that it works pretty much like the tape Amazon uses on their packages. It's about the same width, too. So, if this type of tape is good enough for Amazon, well... I suppose it should be more than adequate for me, too! πWhat I've done thus far is fill a shallow Tupperware container about half full of water. Then I place a thick sponge inside of that, so that it can absorb the water and stay moist. I also ensure that the top of the sponge is higher than the level of the edges of said container, so that I can easily swipe the strips of tape across the sponge, in order to wet them for adherence to my boxes/packages. This technique can get a little bit messy at times, but nothing too intolerable... LOL. πI am not a very heavy or frequent shipper, but I can still tell that 66 yards of this stuff isn't going to last quite as long as it sounds. But, on the other hand, I don't feel too poorly about the price-point, either. I think it's a comparatively good value...Overall, 4.5 stars... and recommended. ππ»π

Great water-activated tape
For nearly 20 years of selling on ecommerce, we've always used clear or filament packing tape in the warehouse. We've recently decided (within the past month), for at least many of the boxes that we ship, to switch to a water based tape, such as this roll. The water tape dispenser gives us precise measuring of the length of the pieces we need, there are now no tape guns lost or randomly left all over the warehouse, the tape gives the boxes a stronger seal, and overall it just seemed like a good move for us to make. While we're now pretty used to using the water tape machine, we're still experimenting with what tape brand to buy, since this is a little outside of our packaging-area-of-expertise (we have plenty of brands that we know and buy clear & filament tape from, but we've never had to source this type of water activated kraft tape before). This tape so far is a contender for sure. It fits in our machine (which can take tape rolls up to 4 inches) and seals the boxes very well. Seems plenty strong, and while I don't have a ton of others to compare it to (we'll try just a couple more and then make a final choice), so far I see no reason why this one couldn't be "the one".I'll likely try a roll of their narrower tape (which is a little under 2"), since price is also a consideration. Although this brand seems to offer quantity discounts for both tape widths, at both the single roll and bulk roll discount pricing that they offer, it's considerably less expensive for the narrower version, especially considering how many boxes we seal & ship in a day (and therefore, how much tape we'd be going through). So far, this is a strong contender with the limited experience that we have with kraft water tape.

Somewhat expensive. Suitable for small volume shipping.
Most paper tapes are completely biodegradable and recyclable - that goes for reinforced paper tape too. Paper tape is a "greener" alternative to plastic tape. Plastic tape isnβt so eco-friendly. When removed from the cartons prior to recycling, an adhesive residue is left behind, weakening the recycled corrugated material. On top of this, the residue can damage expensive screening and filtering machinery used within the recycling process. You may have noticed that Amazon uses its own branded paper tape to seal shipping boxes.Another reason to use reinforced paper tape is to provide obvious evidence of opening or tampering. This may be important.Would I purchase this for most of my shipping? No. Transparent plastic tape is much easier to apply and it offers... Tranparency. But if "eco-friendly" is important, paper is the way to go.

Adheres well and clean look
Pros:-Adheres well-Reinforced tape is tamper proof and stronger than plastic tape-More environmentally friendly and gives boxes a "cleaner" look compared to using transparent tapeCons:-Higher price point-Requires additional step (water activation)I like it but I don't mail that many boxes to justify buying this more expensive tape, plus buying an additional device to dispense it. I had an old foam paint brush lying around that I used to wet the tape so I can finish the roll, but I don't think I'll get it again unless I'm mailing a lot more boxes.
