Excellent game. Would definitely recommend
We saw this game after we had bought bananagrams. I liked that it was small and compacted so we could take it with us if we went out for the day or camping. There are so many games that you can play. This is definitely fun but also an excellent way to learn maths as you go. We had to contact the supplier as we were missing a piece. The customer care was excellent. We were kept informed and the piece was delivered straight away, first class with an apology. I was surprised that the seller, Oli, had designed and produced this game by himself. You automatically think it is a big company. I think it's important to support these small companies too. Well worth it and I would definitely recommend this game.

... product to support children's basic maths skills whilst having fun. I've played it with a few children already ...
I work in schools and I bought this product to support children's basic maths skills whilst having fun. I've played it with a few children already and they absolutely loved it. It didn't feel like learning for them which is great as they are willing to go with the flow then. The instructions have an appendix on the back if you want to focus on a certain area e.g. multiplication. It works great as an intervention and I plan on incorporating it into lessons. It's also great as a family game. I've played it at home with my friend and godson and we had great fun. Highly recommended with many game ideas provided. Great present for Christmas too!

Fun way to train math skills
I like the quality and portability of the game. A bit difficult to play in family due to different levels of skills and still keep it fair, but certainly a fun way to do math exercises with your kids.

Very interesting
This is a fab fab fab game. My 10yo started playing solo and this is the only game that he has enjoyed playing solo. We haven't tried the group version yet but looks very promising. Good quality tiles and very easy to carry on a holiday.

4 stars
By now we've played 4 different games from the book. It is ok, but not very exciting.

Versatile games for many ages that don't feel like school work!
Numbalee is well worth the expense! I homeschool and I had two concerns with the game before I decided to buy: the first was that it would feel like work and therefore not hold my children's interest. On this matter I would compare the game to Rumikube or Phase10; the tiles are numbers but the play doesn't feel like work. I want my kids to love learning, not dread it.My second concern was that I wouldn't be able to use Numbalee with both my 5 and 10 year old. It's actually great for both. Some of the covered topics are: sequencing, patterns, place value, +/-/×/÷ of single/double-digit numbers. You can even do some triple-digit math if that's where you want to take it. Each of the games are versatile enough that you can set the boundaries yourself based on what practice your child needs. I have a child with LDs who struggles with recognizing place value; we play Numbalee hi or low. We don't hide our tiles (as the tiles you draw are all chance it doesn't significantly impact play) and we say the numbers created after each turn. I will ask questions about their choices and eventually my kiddo will self-correct. This child also struggles with rote memorization. We play Numbalee block with just multiplication and keep a times table on hand. Play is similar for the child who is working on single-digit addition except with tokens and a 10-frame on hand.I'm very very pleased with this purchase and I know we'll be able to use it for years to come and the kids will still enjoy it. Thanks for this great resource, Numbalee!

Great family game
Perfect family game. You can make it simple addition or subtraction for a younger member or multiplication and division for older ones. I bought it for myself the grandma and my grandson who is 8. Love it!
