great automation for costumes
we used this turntable as part of a Cosplay. To make the Beetlejuice carousel rotate on the hat. Worked great. BUT you need to know this is battery ONLY. the USB is only to power it if you have it close to an outlet. It is not a rechargeable turntable. if you don't have power close at hand you must use batteries.

Great!
I have ordered and owned a few types of turn tables. This is by far the best one. Its certainly the best qaulity. The only drawback of this model is you must remember to take out the battery when you are done using or else the batteries are depleted by next use. This is because the turntable is always drawing power to be on to recieve a signal from the included remote.

Great, but runs down batteries when idle
Overall, love this thing. Uses proper stepper motors for a smooth consistent speed, almost silent, looks great, and the remote and color pads are a nice touch. At this price I can't complain too much, but I do have one biggie: It uses battery power even when turned off - I put fresh batteries in to try it out, turned it off, and by the next morning the batteries were beyond dead (actually read 0V on a multimeter). So there's some lazy circuit design happening there. So as long as you take the batteries out when not in use, or just use USB power instead, it's great!

Be careful, remove batteries after each use.
It works great, nice slow and smooth rotation. Will kill batteries even when turned off.So, I just remove the batteries after my use (use for taking product photos) and I keep batteries next to it for re-insertion.Tip: place a ribbon under the batteries when you put them back in, then removing the batteries is easy, grab the ribbon and pull. Batteries pop right out. Over all, remove batteries and you’ll be happy.

Works, if you don't have to stop it
I bought this to put under a tree to display ornaments in my booth last weekend. It turned, looked great, but when I needed to stop it for a customer, I ended up having to unplug it. I took it off the table and didn't use it for the rest of the weekend. Very disappointing, but I'll probably use it for photographing some of the freestanding ornaments going forward.

Known Defective Issue Not Corrected
The stand works pretty well, a slight bit of skipping with heavier objects but handles heavy items pretty well overall which was my main concern. The big problem is the batteries will run down over night if you don't remove them. I saw this in several earlier reviews that were a year or two old but hoped by now they had corrected the problem since I really needed a turntable with high weight capabilities, but they have not. Having to remove the batteries is bit of an inconvenience, but knowing the company has known about this problem for years, has done nothing about it and still continues to sell a defective product shows the company has no interest in customer satisfaction or the quality of their product.

Great for Rotating your Merch!
The media could not be loaded. This thing is great! It rotates in either direction and at multiple speeds. You can control it with buttons on the side or with the included remote. You can run the unit and the remote off of batteries (not included) or you can use a USB-C cable (included) to power it. The unit comes with multiple colored discs that you can place on top of the unit -- there aren't a ton of colors (black, pink, yellow, and blue) but you could always use them as a template and make your own if needed. If you're doing online sales and want to have items for sale rotate, this is a great solution!
