This play pen is great for independent play. We opted to get this size because we had the room for this rectangle one, but I do see a lot of others with more of a smaller square one. This play pen is huge and me, my son, and his father can play in there together. Sometimes my son and my two nieces play in there for a good while. Beware it will be toy storage sometimes if you let it accumulate, ha. It wasn’t hard to assemble, but because of the size we never took it apart and brought it anywhere else. We wouldn’t say it is portable. It is pretty stable for a 1-3 year old to play in.

We ordered this one after we got a really cheap one and ended up getting our money back because it was so flimsy and cheap quality. Thank GOD we got this one it is way better quality, durable and a lot bigger (we got the largest size. It’s safe for our son who likes to climb on everything he can’t get out or hurt himself. We loved the handles it came with so he can pull up and stand and the reversible mat it came with too! Perfect place for him to play safely when we need to leave him in there for short periods of time. Love!!!

1. This play-yard is huge! If you have limited space or a small/tiny living room this will take up all the space.2. It’s super easy to assemble when you follow the instructions and pay attention to the pieces in particular. The instructions are somewhere inside with all the pieces, so look for the pamphlet before assembly.3. It’s not a sturdy built, so it bends easily if you put your weight on it or against it, but it will tolerate small children’s weight.4. The mat it comes with is VERY thin, it will not protect your developing baby from bumping his/her head if he/she falls over. This is why I gave it a four star. I suggest buying a thick and fluffy space rug, a little bigger than play-yard and put it under (on floor, not inside play-yard) for some additional if not maximum protection for your baby. Also, the mat can easily be lifted by babies/children and they can get under it. Another reason for a four star. I think the company should’ve added some velcro under to keep it secure. But I’m guessing since the mat is reversible they didn’t.5. The play-yard is not really high in height, so eventually whenever your baby learns to climb, he/she will be escaping if you’re not keeping them entertained inside.6. The accessories it came with are perfect but it would’ve been nice to have a soft soccer ball and a basketball since it comes with soccer nets and a basketball hoop.7. The soccer nets are connected with a zipper, if you remove them you’ll be left with two open gaps and your baby will escape (obviously). This is another reason I gave a four star. Because you can’t remove and replace with something to close it with. Plus you have to pay close attention to your baby/child since they can potentially get tangled inside the soccer nets. Which I personally believe is a potential safety hazard if you’re planning on putting your baby/child in and go about your day inside/outside the home without supervising your baby/child. Babies/children love to explore and will get into anything!8. This is a play-yard, this is to keep your baby/child in a somewhat safe space while awake and playing. This helps avoid your baby/child from getting into household items/things that are not secure/child proof. Therefore, I suggest not to let you baby sleep in it. Pay attention to your babies tired/sleepy cues and put him/her on his/her bed. The mat is not made for babies/children to sleep on, you can’t put a fitted sheet or nothing on it because it will get bulky or bend and may cause asphyxiation.Overall, my family and I are obsessed with this play-yard. We add age appropriate toys and stay inside with the baby to interact with, entertain, and safely keep baby away from getting into the soccer nets.

Pros: reasonable price, great size for my mobile baby, good accessories, mat is not thick but is foam so when my daughter plops down it doesn't seem to bother her, and easy to assemble.Cons: only some parts snap together and so if you aren't paying attention and you lean in to get your kid or give them something it bows in. The goals zip out but they have no way to close them if you do that so you really have to leave them on. I wish it was a little taller so we could use it longer without her being able to get out.

We got this for our youngest who was 8 months at the time of purchase. I have had it about 2 months now and it has been a game changer. It's a great size and very sturdy. It's like his own little play world. I can put him in there and not worry about him getting into things he shouldn't while I'm doing things around the house. It keeps all the little toys in one space and they aren't all over the house. He can pull up on holding the sides and I don't worry about it coming apart..it's pretty safe My other kids like to climb in there and play with him as well. It's perfectly priced for what it is. It's not heavy and can be moved around pretty easily without taking it apart. It's not an eyesore in our living room either. It was a little time consuming putting together but sooooo worth it!!

The suction on this product isn’t very strong, and I found it hard to clean. The size is a bit large, and the padding is too thin for my liking. We ended up buying an additional mat for safety, especially since my little one is just learning to stand and walk. That said, my son loves making silly faces in the net, which is adorable! Overall, I like it despite the drawbacks.

I was looking to find a multi use playpen to keep my baby entertained when I WFH. Since I live in a smaller apartment, I wanted something I could easily set up and take down during the week. This takes about 25 mins to set up (not bad in my opinion) and my child absolutely loves it! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars use because everything does not fit in the carrying case, JUST THE POLES fit in the case. The accessories like the padding, the actual net, and balls do not fit in the carrying case and we needed two additional cases for them. It is not the best travel playpen but it 100% does the job to keep my child safe and entertained while I could work (inside) the playpen as well!
