International Cosmetics Agree | Shampoo | Fragrance Shampoo Premium 500ml (Japan Import)

I've used no shampoo other than Agree since 1979, and have a collection of almost all versions made since then. And, this is a great version -- a great shampoo, though it differs from the original formula from the late-70's and early-80's. First, it definitely has the authentic, original Agree fragrance, although more of it is used -- it is much stronger, and therefore, somewhat "sweeter" than it was in the original Agree made and sold SC Johnson, and much, much stronger than the Agree produced by DEP-Schwarzkopf thereafter, because Schwarzkopf (later acquired by Henkel) diluted the fragrance substantially during the 1990's, and phased it out entirely in 2000, when it adopted several new scents for Agree. This is the strongest version of the fragrance ever (except, perhaps for the original creme-rinse conditioner), but it's absolutely the right one. Second, the shampoo itself is wonderful, and leaves hair soft and very clean, and may be even better than the original formula -- the original Agree was a clarifying shampoo, which rinsed out completely, leaving a "squeak," and it removed oil so well that you could go a day without shampooing, if you wanted to. This version, which is cream-colored, rather than transparent, has most of those characteristics, but is richer than the original formula, and not quite as drying. In fact, I don't find it necessary to use the conditioner with this version. Finally, if you live in the U.S., and have normal, rather than dry/damaged hair, this is the formula you want. This company makes a less expensive formula in a differently-shaped bottle, but it's based on the DEP-Schwarzkopf "Dry or Damaged" hair formula, because Japanese hair is coarser, and it tends to weigh my hair down, just as the U.S. dry/damaged formula did. This version is definitely formulated differently, and is better, at least for me. Highly-recommended to those who love Agree shampoo!

Some of the reviews lead you to think this smells like Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific..It doesn't smell anything like it..I used Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific in the 70's..It was my favorite shampoo..This Agree shampoo has a pleasant scent and makes your hair shiny and soft,,But it's way too expensive..If you're looking for Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific, this isn't even close to the scent of it

Hubby was wondering if they still made agree shampoos and I came here looking for it.I read every review that was on this site I could find. I first read all the negative ones, then read the positive ones.This is the smell of the Agree we remember from the 70’s . I purchased this bottle and the other bottle that looks like most bottles today.I had to chase the hubby down in the driveway to get this from him, mail person handed it to him when he was leaving for work and I couldn’t wait nine hours to smell this .I opened this bottle and said oh my gosh, this is it. Then proceeded to put on some late 70’s music while sniffing it. I then put a tiny dab on my hands to wash with and sniffed for two hours.When hubby got home, I was waiting for him in the bathroom, couldn’t wait to wash his hair.This smelled do great, it’s like a drug, I kept my nose buried in his head. I stepped outside and came back in to a whole house smelling so great.This cleaned his hair wonderful and he is very fussy what he uses. He has normal to oily hair.If you remember the old Agree shampoo and loved it then, you can still get it today.I have ordered more of this as I want to make sure he has what he needs and wants.

This smells like a mixture of musk and "white flowers", vaguely similar to BBW moonlit path. It smells unpleasant and almost suffocating. I used two pumps on my hair, rinsed well and, thankfully, could not smell it at all once I got out of the shower.

much sweeter than i remember, but it's growing on me. the formula is thick and rich which makes my hair very silky and shiny, with a lasting fragrance. getting past the sweetness, i do get a hint of the old time agree; i have an extremely old vintage bottle of agree that still has it's fragrance, although light, i am still able to smell it and know what it is. since purchasing the one bottle i have gone back and repurchase two more as back ups, never know when this will become unavailable. of all the agree shampoos on the market, this is the version i would put my dollars to.

Don't Waste your money! After I used it my hair didn't have any fragrance scent at all!

The shampoo does not have the scent of Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific, not even close........ And the scent of the shampoo it is not so fragant and does not last a long time as GYHST ....... But Agree leaves your hair beautiful, with body and shinning, easy to comb, that is why I am buying it again, I have a fine hair..... But I still miss the smell of my favorite shampoo of the 70's.

Not for me, made my hair too soft. But I did like the smell. I use to use a green colored agree in the 70's. That one gave me more body

中学生男子の頭も次の日までいい香りが続きました。

高校の時に友人が使用しており、良い香りにつられて購入。シリコーンが弱いのか、欧米向きなのか、某有名メーカーの有名シャンプーコンディショナーに比べるとコスパの割にはサラサラ度合いはとても低め。それでもコレにしか無い良い香りで30年以上愛用している。大学時の卒業式に後輩から「シャンプー何使ってますか？」と、しつこく聞かれた（笑）十数年後、本人に何故か聞いたら「僕が使って、母も使ってます」とにかく良い香り。ムスク系が好きな人にオススメ。

やっぱりこの匂いが一番！
