Is there a better way than scissors to open these?

I have the same challenge. I can only open mine with scissors. Teeth, fingers, knife and toe nail clippers do not work. Good luck and enjoy!

Left part out, is potassium and magnesium in a multi vitamin with salt enough for hydration?

As far as I can tell, even the "unflavored" one has stevia - why do all of these "sugar free" electrolyte products have sweetener?

Actually, the unflavored LMNT does NOT contain Stevia or any sweeteners. It was the only sodium / electrolyte product that I could find that didn't contain any sweeteners. However, the flavored LMNT does contain Stevia. I hope this is helpful.
