StarbucksCollector Relief Series New York Taxi Mug, 16 Oz

I bought this coffee cup because I had just left New York City and I regretted not buying the mug my whole way home. So here I am - I jumped on Amazon and found the exact same mug that was offered in the Starbucks' stores around the city. I have a few of these mugs from different cities and I love that they are all unique, sturdy, and they all match. It is fun to collect them but also have the ability to use them - as they are also a nice big size. The mug came quickly and is a great addition to my coffee obsession!

This is a great mug - so pretty, & large enough for lattes. I bought it to remind me of a great NY vacation. The Broadway shows, Times Square, grand Central, and so many great restaurants & bakeries. The only thing that would make me love it more is if it were more matte & not so shiney

This was a gift for my mom to replace the one we got her in New York a few years ago. It was her favorite because of the lager than average size, but it developed a crack. When we received the new one, the packaging stated it was not microwave-safe, so that may be what caused the damage. Anyway, nice, oversized mug for anyone who loves NY, but may be best not to microwave it.

I initially bought this mug from a Starbucks in Times Square while I was in New York for my husband as a birthday gift. At the time we were childless and living our best lives. Fast forward to now, 3 years later, we now have a toddler who stole that mug off the coffee table (stupid mom, shouldn't leave breakable things laying around), he carried it into the kitchen and dropped it onto the tile floor, smashing it into a million pieces. I rushed onto amazon to order a new one as a replacement before my husband could find out what happened. It arrived before the hubby ever noticed it was gone, and is exactly the same as the one I bought from Times Square! My husband has no idea, and thats exactly what I was going for! Well worth the $65! (i live in Canada and it was cheaper to buy it through amazon.com than .ca)

I was so elated to find that this exact mug was available and purchased it immediately online - My only regret was that it was so expensive compared to the original that my daughter bought for me as a souvenir from New York but since it was a replacement I had no choice. It’s the perfect size for my morning coffee and or nighttime cup of tea.

This was for my niece who had just taken her first trip to NYC over Thanksgiving and had requested a "Starbucks mug from any city, except Denver" which is where we live. She LOVED it! We especially liked the unique styling of the skyline/buildings in black and white and the only color was on the taxi and the Starbucks logo. Very nice mug that made her very happy!

I love this mug and was wondering if it cost more or less from a NYC (where we live) Starbucks store.I bought the same mug at a Starbucks a half block from my work for $15, so the answer is less.So I bought a mug for my daughter who loves it.So the moral of the story is if you live near a store want to save 10 bucks, go to a store.

I bought one while in NYC last summer, and my daughter had mug envy when she saw it... so I ordered this one for a stocking stuffer this Christmas. It's an extra cool mug - love the yellow taxi on the white foreground. Excellent quality.
