How long did it take before you noticed an improvement in your dog's coat? I've washed my dog's coat twice now and it's looking worse.

This shampoo is not going to improve the coat - it is for skin conditions. If your dog skin is getting worse, a vet visit is in order. Look at your dogs diet too. My senior pit (16) showed marked improvement after two weeks of bathing twice a week

Does this shampoo have a scent? and if so, is it anything as lime sulphur?

I do not know anything about "lime sulpher", but this shampoo does have a light sulphur scent. It isn't as pungent as others that I have smelled and the important thing that I appreciated about this product is that it worked really well for my dog. Unfortunately, my dog has since passed, but he was diabetic and had a lot of skin issues. He was insulin-dependent and very prone to skin infections. This shampoo helped a lot in managing his skin issues.

How often should I use this shampoo? Is it okay to use weekly?

This shampoo is harsh and best used for spot treatment of areas with bacterial infection or when prescribed.

Is it appropriate for washing a cat bite? (Yes we got vet care! but they said to keep it washed and I'm looking for what to wash with)

it is made for itching and skin problems, mabe an aniceptic soap would help
