OBD works great. This would be good for cross country trips.
I have to admit that I am still undecided if this combination jump starter and OBD scanner is a great idea or one that went to far.The unit seems well built. The jump leads are silicone insulated wire, which is good. The other cables seem to be of better quality than most boosters I have used. The OBD feature works great on the two vehicles I have tried it on. The screen is bright and easy to read. The menu is intuitive and easy to navigate.I do not have a vehicle to test the booster on so I cannot comment on its function. Given the quality of the other parts of the unit and how ell the OBD portion works I suspect they did a good job with the booster portion of this device.I have carried Bluetooth or wi-fi OBD scanners in my vehicles for years. They have kept me from being stranded on more than one occasion. So do I need an OBD scanner as part of a booster? The short answer is no. However, I think this item has merit. For one, you only need to carry one device. Second, this OBD scanner is easier to use than my separate devices that require me to connect to my phone and have an app on my phone. Sometimes these devices and apps can be a bit finicky. Will I get one of these for every vehicle I own? The answer is no. Will I take this device on longer trips? the answer is absolutely!I think this would be a good device for a college student who is away from home. Teach them how to use the booster and the OBD and they will be able to take care of a lot of issues by themselves instead of waiting for a tow truck.

Perfect tool
This is a handy tool for mechanics. It can scan your car for problems and jump start your car all in one. Color display and very easy to use. Very long battery life I used this three times and I didn't have to carge it to use it again. I recommend this great tool to keep in your trunk incase emergencies.

Really neat device!
I got this to jump start cars when the battery dies and also to do basic scans with. I honestly wasn't expecting much from the scanner side of this, but was actually surprised with how much it could actually do!The battery pack itself works great and should be fine for jump starting most car/truck engines. The instruction manual that comes with this is written very well - however, the instructions only really talk about how to use the jumper pack and basic buttons on the device. When it comes to using the built in scanner, you'll have to kind of figure it out on your own. Thankfully, the menu's are fairly easy to navigate and its functions make sense, so it's easy to figure out. This scanner has more features than the $120 standalone scanner I have. Scrolling through options on a screen is a smooth experience, but there is a bit of waiting and patience required when moving through different screens. One of my favorite features of this scanner is the ability to record and show graphs - so you can set this to record while you drive around, then check what the recording shows for issues when it's safe to do so.Overall, I think this thing is a great buy! Considering what your getting for the price, I think it's even priced very fairly! The only thing this is lacking is a carry case. Aside from that, I've found this to be a very useful tool! 5 stars!

Very Easy to use and a duo product
The media could not be loaded. This a great tool to have as you are able to conduct a scan yourself and jump start your vehicle. It also has a very convenient bright white LED light at the top of the device that will help you to see at night and the jumper cables are longer so it's not awkward to use. When i received mine it was fully charged and although my car had no codes to read i still wanted to test out the scanning tool which is super easy to navigate with the buttons (it's not touch screen). when the results were ready it also gave a colour coded light at the bottom of the screen with indications showing whether there were no codes, pending or permanent codes. You can also charge phones with this device as it has a USB c C port at the top. I only wished it came with a hard shell traveling case. Oh to turn on the light, I pressed down the power button for about 5 seconds and then it came on

A jump box and car diag in one
The media could not be loaded. When looking for a jump box or a car OBD2 scanner to see what that check engine light is on for, you really can't go wrong with this two in one combination. The jump starter portion of this can start a car with a fully dead battery as it has a boost button on the side of the jumper cable connector that gives the car the full power of the battery pack even though the car battery is depleted so you can successfully start your car and be on your way. The OBD2 scanner is not just something they thew in there, but it is fully functional to read and clear check engine light and give you the reason why it was on and the ability to clear the error code as it might have been the result of a drained battery. It has connection to update the OBD2 software that is on the jump box to keep it up to date with the latest error code definitions and more recent cars so it will be useful for years to come even if the jump start capabilities of the battery wear out so this is a keeper. Updating the firmware on the jump box might be challenging as it is not covered in the manual and you have to to the companies website to download the update software and I was not able to at this time as it just errored out. But none the less, this was able to read the codes fine on my 2022 car and able to jump my old F150 v8 truck that has been needing a new battery for a while now so this worked on both with no issues.
