I've never had a nut roast before, so I didn't really know what to expect. It tastes OK and it's really easy to make, but I probably wouldn't buy it again.

I was invited to a bring some food party and I brought this - requested by the hostess. I admit to trying to pass it off as my own making but eventually caved in and told the truth.Just a note about the strangeness of non vegan/vegetarian reaction to a nut roast. They look at it like they are being offered poison before admitting they are curious. Then they pick at it before admitting it’s delicious. I have to convince them it’s just a meat free dish and won’t actually make them turn vegan!! (Although I have meat eating friends who regularly order nut roast off a particular restaurant’s menu). It’s full of goodness, easy to make and I’ll be ordering this often.
