It waz just the right size for my nephew

I ordered this bag 4 mo ths ago but we just started using it. I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality of the bag and lunch box. The lunch box has a strap so it can be worn on the shoulder. It's a very generous size!!!! Fits my son's lunch and ice pack w ease and we could fit much more. The backpack is great quality also and I like it has some compartments to help him organize his school work. We found in a deal and it was really worth it!

The complete set is the backpack, insulated nylon lunch bag and nylon 'pencil' case. The backpack is nice and roomy. If it's filled with books/notebook paper - it's way too heavy, so it's sized good for some books and other things (sweatshirt, etc..). The lunch bag is kinda big, way bigger than I had in school or used at work for years. I'm sure it could be used to hold a full 6-pack (like we all need a 6-pack for lunch, lol) - Soda, I'm sure... Then, the 'pencil case' - this too is really nice and roomy, aka - BIG !! Super nice size to keep together lots of different stuff, keys, folded up notes, gum, toothbrush holder & toothpaste, retainer, glasses, a couple masks, money/change, credit cards, a small wallet, phone,... Each of the pieces has really a super nice quality color graphic, I think it's painted on - probably a silk screen or iron-on transfer. I got it for a teen, but it's really suitable for any age, I'd use it myself. It doesn't look cartoonish at all and is almost a movie type promo item. It's not the least expensive backpack, but it's got both the super useful lunchbag and pencil case. I didn't realize how handy a pencil case like this is, till I got one for myself, and this one is bigger and much higher quality than the cheap one I got for myself. I really don't like these kind of things to protect a laptop (or Chromebook), but my 15" laptop fit inside nicely, some backpacks aren't quite tall enough for the laptop AND other stuff (Books/ etc). It's only spec'd to fit a 14" laptop (more common Chromebook size), but I think most 15" laptops would fit in there too. Personally, I have a smaller laptop, soft rubberized sleeve to better protect my laptop when using a backpack, but that's me. This set doesn't come with a sleeve, and it would have to be sized for your specific laptop anyway. That aside, I see kids at school all the time with just the bare laptop in their backpacks and doing it every day without problems, so I wouldn't worry about it - and really, I have started to like the backpack better than a old fashioned shoulder computer bag anyway myself too. This is a nice set for ANYONE that likes ferocious looking dinosaurs (pretty sure it's supposed to be a Tyrannosaurus).

This is a very strong, very durable backpack for Pre-K, Kindergarten or 1st Grade. The size will not put as much stress on their backs as some. It comes with a very nice, insulated lunch box, as well as a pencil case.The bag itself has very vibrant colors and looks just like the photo. I don't see them fading or washing out anytime soon either. It has two zippered pockets, the front one big enough to hold notebooks and such, and the rear pocket big enough for the pencil case, lunch box, extra set of clothes and even a few toys for an airplane trip. It also has an elastic sleave inside for a tablet.The lunch box is insulate and has it's own carrying strap if needed. It also has webbed bottle or snack holders on both sides that are very flexible and strong. There is a zippered outer pocket for light snacks.The pencil box has a divider for holding pens and pencils, and pockets on the inside for erasers, coloring crayons and other small items for occupying young minds.All three pieces are very durable and share the solid design work. I'm very impressed with it, and of course, my aspiring paleontologist was ecstatic! This bag got his seal of approval...not always easy to achieve.

The backpack was nice, and it arrived quickly. The only bad thing about it was it did not come with the pencil pouch.

Good size for a kid it has a lunch bag and kids utensil bag for pencils and crayons. The dinosaur picture is vivid and visible great bacpack.
