Works to monitor for termites but not a slow acting poison for them to feed the colony
This is as described and it works I just wish it was made a little more clear that this is a fast acting poison and there’s not a great chance there taking it back to feed the colony. This is more of a monitoring device then you need to call a expert or purchase the 400.00 dollar slow acting bait stations

If you are wondering, this product really does work. I found there were termites living in my front yard for several years. I know this because I experienced them swarming two years in a row. The first time they swarmed they came over to my house and we were crawling in a bedroom window. I placed 5 of these around the area I saw them emerging from. I think it took 5 replacements (after the orange marker popped up) to eliminate the colony. It has been three months and no pop-ups. I checked one of the regular locations and the trap was clean. Note: it comes with a hand-cranked drill. You can unscrew the handle and insert it into a drill to quickly make a hole to place this device in.

Don't use in a wet area or a place that you might mow.
The green base of the flimsy and has broken many times when it is run over by a lawn mower. I honestly do not know if they are working as they should because the stick pops up when they get wet, or if there is actual activity. I called a pest inspector to come over and place a few industrial traps and they found nothing nor evidence of activity. I did try to save a few dollars with these only to find they caused me discomfort by popping off for no reason other than getting wet. That cost me more money in the long run.
