I recently upgraded my pool pump to the Century model (used on my Pentair system), and the transformation in my pool's performance has been nothing short of remarkable. This pump has elevated my pool maintenance experience to a whole new level, and I couldn't be happier with the results.First and foremost, the enhanced power and efficiency of this pump are truly impressive. I bought this 'newer version" to replace my old pump. I was told by the sales team that this was compatible with my remote panel. That was 100% not correct. After 9 months of operation not being able to use my remote equipment, it started making noise. The after a year of operation it stopped altogether. And for me to get the old style, it costs twice as much.Customer service with this brand is horrible. Buyer beware...

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to replace single speed Century 1.65hp motor. At max speed this thing is a lot louder than the old single speed. I can see saving already with variable speeds. This thing was easy to swap out. It has one button, nice and simple. I just can’t give it 5 stars for the fact that it’s too loud at high speed.

The warranty for this product is only 12 months to 18 months. Mine lasted 23 months right after warranty expired. The motor started making noise. After I turned it off and on again, it wont run anymore. It tried to but I figure the bearings were shot. I opened it up and all seals and o-rings were intact. Inside was dry. Not buying Century motors again.

Plug and play. Easily replaced my old single speed pump and easy to program with one single green glowing button. I like to run the pump while I’m swimming and now I don’t need to go into the box to turn it on and off. Just a quick press of the glowing button manually turns it on full and another longer press returns it to its program. Very pleased.

If you need to use it at higher rpm, such as for your auctions powered pool cleaner or for waterfall, DO NOT BUY. it has a high pitch whine that is unbearable. Another reviewer said it too.

Unit exchanged with old Hayward unit well and easily. Runs extremely quiet and is very powerful. Very happy with the choice.
