Probably my favorite part of The Biggest Story is the exceptionally well designed artwork. I've been a big fan of Don Clark's work for years. With this fun and engaging activity book, my kids get a chance to not only revisit some of the content of the story books, but also have fun coloring and engaging with Clark's incredible illustrations.They have done such a good job making art that is accessible yet sophisticated. It, like the Bible, is accessible for anyone at any age, but invites repeated viewings and holds up well over time. The illustration style is timeless, and very unique. It is also a fun challenge for the kids to try to match Clark's unique color palette using standard art supplies.I'm a big fan of anything that helps my kids continue to think about things that really matter, even when they're doing something fun like coloring. This activity book helps us do just that.

This bible activity book has a nice variety of activities such as coloring pages, mazes, and crossword puzzles. The book cover is vertical, but the activities are presented in a horizontal format. I like the simple artwork style they chose for the activities, but they might not be for everyone.There are some titles for some of the activities that try to seem cool, but I think they tried too hard. I also noticed that some of the activities could be a little difficult for younger children, but there are many to choose from. I actually really like how some of the color by number activity pages look like once they are completed.I would recommend this bible activity book; it has large pages with quality artwork and activities.

I got this activity book for my niece so that my sister can have it on hand to pull out during service if she needs to keep her occupied for some period of time. We loved that it was scripture based so that she can still be participating in church activities even if she is too young to be intently listening to service (and too old to want to go to children's church/sunday school).
