We’re just starting water glassing our fresh chicken eggs. I already can but even the canning wide mouth jars make it hard to gently place my eggs into them. I went looking for something with a wider mouth and found these. There size is ideal at two quarts I just add one once of Pickering lime and one quart of distilled water. I can then add my fresh clean unwashed eggs as I gather them from my birds. As I add the eggs, the water level raises perfectly to the top. Currently, I’m almost done with jar number seven and have jar number eight already to go. I just got six more jars to keep e going for a few more weeks. The jars seem well made with a tight fitting lid.The two quart size is excellent for us as the weight is manageable and they fit nicely in our cabinets. They look nice sitting on the shelf and I don’t have to worry about them holding up the way a plastic one might. I could even stack them if needed I just chose not to stack. Water glassed eggs last from 12 to 18 months and I know that these jars will be around for many years and many cycles of fresh summer eggs. For me they are a good value.

Used for making pickles. Good size and keeps pickles nice. Easy to use and clean.

I ordered two of these glass bottles to replace the plastic bucket in my Yogotherm. They're only slightly too big, so I am going to shave down some of the Styrofoam that protrudes in the inside of the styrofoam liner. Nice lidded glass bottles.

These glass jars were perfect for sizing up for my sourdough starter. The glass is thick and durable. I accidentally dropped it onto the concrete, and it did not break! I do wish that the lid had a better seal on it. Even upon tightening the lid, if you turn the jar upside down with water in it, it does leak.

Great for refrigerator food storage, ie. Strawberries, blueberries, etc.

These are air tight and nice quality and easy to use !! Nothing like quality glass.

I love the look of my pantry items in jars but the masons are always a smidge small and these are a perfect fit.
