Love it. Keeps coffee hot all day
Love this. It keeps coffee hot all day long. We heat it up with hot water, pour it out then put the coffee in it. We used to keep the electric coffee pot on all day. Now we are saving the electricity, wear on the coffee pot, and the coffee is tasting better (not burnt). So far so good with the lid. No leaks. Took it on a trip for a ladles tea. Worked wonderfully. I would highly recommend this product. Love it!We're still using this almost every day. Still works great. No problems keeping the coffee hot all day. The top is still in great shape too. We bought one for backup but I don't think that we will be using it for a while. 2/2023

This carafe is the real deal—super hot!
I really love this! I got it for Christmas. I don’t mind cleaning it. It’s not difficult. Here’s what I love....it keeps my hot tea as hot as can be. I asked for it for Christmas because I needed a way to keep my tea hot throughout the day. I haven’t put my coffee in it but I know it will work perfectly. I put boiling water in it at 9 am in preparation for a Christmas get together with my family at noon. The hot water was for the hot chocolate bar and it was a hit. Because it is so large there was water left and at 9:30 pm, when I poured out what was left, I burned my finger. It was still scalding hot. This is why I asked my husband for a carafe and thank goodness he found this one on amazon. I highly recommend it.

Maintains hot really well when filled
This carafe works really well when filled to the top. I wash it every night and when done I fill it with hot water and let it sit all night. I did this originally as a test to see how hot it'd be the next day. I was pleasantly surprised that it was still quite hot. I still do this so that it's hot already when I pour in my fresh pot of coffee. Not sure it's necessary but habit now.One day I didn't make any coffee (I was ok, just had to leave before I could make it) and let the carafe sit another day and night. Surprisingly, it was still warm. Not coffee cup hot, but warm enough you could pour on yourself and not get shivers. However, this heat retention doesn't last nearly as long when it's only half full. I only make half a pot of coffee each morning (about 6 cups). Even after priming the carafe with hot water, I notice a temperature difference by the time I drink the last cup about 3 hours later. Don't get me wrong, it's still pretty warm, but not so hot that I have to just sip it.I'm a little worried about the lid as the lever to open it for pouring is light plastic, but so far it's holding up well.I still use and recommend it as it fits my needs.

Does not keep the water hot anymore.

Excellent Performance
Kept my first pot of coffee hot for 12 hours+, as advertised. For me, a thermal carafe is essential as coffee tastes best for the longest when consumed fresh brewed, and begins to have its flavor qualities compromised immediately after initial brew if kept exposed to continuous heat in an open carafe. Sealing it, so that it keeps its initial heat and limits exposure to air not only allows you to enjoy hot coffee longer, but better tasting coffee longer. The Vondior 68 oz only drawback for me is that it is a bit larger than I need and I can't truly fill it with one full coffee maker pot. But I am not going to take any stars away for that... that is on me, should have done my capacity math.

Needs some improvements
This VONDIOR Coffee Thermal Carafe (68 Oz) + Free Brush is nice and it works okay. But it needs some improvements. After a few first days of use, the carafe washed up easily enough, kept coffee hot for a few hours, and poured out easily. BUT the top/lid where the piece of stainless steel that is glued to the lid for appearance sake, came loose from the glue that keeps it on. So this piece had to be reinforced. Also, when I go to pour more coffee out of the carafe, before I flip the top to pour, coffee comes out before I'm ready for it to come out. These two issues are the only ones I've come across so far. Other than that, I'm quite pleased with this carafe. It was purchased to keep coffee hot for a while so I don't have to keep my coffee pot plugged in and waste electricity. This carafe serves that purpose well.------------------- MAY 4, 2022 UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW: This VONDIOR Coffee Thermal Carafe (68 Oz) + Free Brush : A) The free Brush is FANTASTIC! no complaints and gets 5 stars! B) The VONDIOR Coffee Thermal Carafe (68 Oz) is another story! After using this carafe for several days now, I've come to the conclusion it's almost a total waste of money. The lid constantly leaks coffee when lifting the carafe to pour coffee into a cup it leaks; when the carafe is simply sitting in place and not being used other than to keep the coffee warm/hot until I'm ready to pour coffee out of it again, the carafe whistles a happy tune to make me think I'm going crazy hearing things...the lid will sometimes release air or steam out of it and whistle...lordy that does drive me crazy/ what's funny is is that the carafe DOES keep the coffee warm/hot even though the lid lets air or steam out. So, that is one saving quality of this unacceptable carafe. I have to say this: I'm keepking both items, the brursh and carafe. I don't want to return the carafe because then I would have to return the most excellent brush! So I will be in the market for another carafe.

Keeps coffee hot!
I bought this to keep a pot of coffee hot for several hours. I fill the empty carafe with almsot boiling water and let it sit while the coffee brews. I usually wait until my son has one cup of coffee and then I empty the water and pour the still steaming pot of coffee in the carafe. By the time he pours the last cup several hours later, it is still hot, not warm. I actually had some left in it the next morning, and while not hot, it was warm. I highly recommend this carafe. I did not care for the brush that came with it to clean it. It swivels, so it is hard to scrub the inside. But since coffee is the only thing we will put in it, I suppose a little coffee smell will not hurt. I might try to use some soda and clean it with another type of brush so it won't start tasting like old coffee. Well pleased.
