Quiet and small
This water fountain is intended for small pets. I would say 4-12 lbs at best which works great for our 4.5 chihuahua. It took him about a week to get adjusted to the moving water but over time he drinks from it with no problem. The nice feature is it has a blue light so you can still see it in the dark without running into it and if the water level is low it will blink red at you. Over all this item is great for keeping the water clear and clean for our dog.

It’s great for your pets!
I have no words it’s just really great! My cat loves it. It doesn’t need to be refilled that often and it shows how much water is in it. It has its on filter and it has a led light! I love it and I like how it’s a little fountain!

The cats love their new fountain! (And so do I.)
The instructions were a little vague, but unmechanical me actually successfully put this together! I'm not sure why it's called "glitter"--I thought the cats would enjoy glitter, but that doesn't seem to be existing. No big, however. The fountain reflects blue when full, but the light turns to red when the water level gets low. It seems to be very efficient, and the design--a slot where water comes out--is much better than our old fountain, which seemed to attract cat hair & debris like a magnet. It's also very quiet. The instructions say to change the filter every 2-3 weeks, but more often if you have more cats.Summary: works well, efficient, cats are happy and hydrated. Recommend.

It works quite well for a simple device
Really, the only major reason I take a star off is the build quality here, especially the materials. The plastic is fairly thin, and the metal bowl is likewise, thin. The instructions are really not good, but enough to figure it out along with some reasonable common sense. In the end, it's super easy to put together, and once done, it is a vast improvement over a water bowl. That water bowl, at least in my case and having two cats, is a daily rinse refill, end a full clean every three days or so.With this, it has a very large reservoir, and will easily last a week or more before needing refilling or adding. Being that the water is no still, it will necessarily also keep cleaner. On top of that, it is being actively filtered, thus also keeping it free from bacteria, etc...Another downside, as per the directions, is the need to dismantle the filter itself and hand-clean it. It has some 6 parts, and I don't like continually having to take such a thing apart, every two weeks according to the instructions. It just seems all to easy for 1 of these little buggers to decide not to play nice with any other, and then the whole thing is no joy. Dead.I haven't run into this yet. Still, the weakest link, and/or a device with many small parts, tends to run into issues.Overall, I yet consider its worth a shot, and my cats really have taken to it. It's nice, fresh, lessens the workload, aside from aforementioned scheduled maintenance. It's large and really does run well. So, yes, I do recommend it, and only if I run into any problems, will I come back to update.
