It's good, but I needed a different size
I was a little unsure about the size of pouch when opened. The bag portion is square with double pull cords. Well made. Easy to fold into a smaller size to completely cover with the leather outer. Nothing really negative about the forage pouch. One aspect though, I will take the 7 middle strands of 550 cord out to lessen the bulk if the cord. But again, personal preference, not a negative.

Love this foraging bag!!
Great little pouch you can attach to your belt or a loop over your shoulder. Well made, rustic, nice leather, quality fabric even holds water for a few minutes! Great for bushcraft and or foraging and I have already bought several as gifts to much appreciation. Recommend.

Solid Bag, but snaps may give way with a heavy load
The packable design is extremely handy, and the canvas bag itself appears to be quite sturdy. One word of warning, though: a heavy load in the bag (rocks, tools, etc.) will place a ton of strain on those snaps, and they will pop loose. Can't tell you how many times I have felt the bag slip after placing a heavy tool back into the bag. I am planning to modify the bag, likely to a permanently closed belt loop. Revising the design to use a riveted true button closure (like classic blue jeans) might be the best solution.If you're not planning to load the bag down, I doubt the snaps will be an issue. Overall, still very satisfied with the bag!

Leather canvas pouch
Leather canvas pouch I got this for my brother because he works in construction and as always losing his pencils or not able to hold his screws in his hand while he’s working this is a great little pouch it is very durable and great for somebody that spends a lot of time outside there are multiple different Ways you can use this pouch highly recommended

Poor draw string quality, but otherwise good
Bag seems to have very strong stitching. Not waxed canvas, it's just plain untreated (was advertised as waxed, not thrilled about the bait & switch), but they're sturdy enough.Note though, the drawstrings do NOT work. If you want to be able to close the bags completely, be prepared to cut the drawstrings out and finagle your own. Bags close about 50% if you have strong hands.
