Be aware there are two versions of these. A 12v and 24v. It seems advertised as a dual voltage but is not. I did want the 24v one and it worked fine. It took 11 minutes to heat a 10oz cup of room temperature water before it boiled. If you have a solar setup in your rv or home this is a good backup if the coffee maker quit or your not near shore power or generator.

for the price the product seems to work well it just takes a while to heat up anything you do need the item to be warm first in order for it to heat up something because it does take 20 minutes or so to get two full warm to hot level

In a few seconds this boiled my coffee water, but a few seconds later this product's metal MELTED itself from its plastic fixture and started smoking caustic plastic in my car. I burned my fingers, which were fine after a few days, and slightly burned the plastic mat of my car. If I had dropped it on the cloth car seat, I bet it would have started on fire. This is the most unsafe product I've ever bought.

Stayed on too long and shorted. Now just good for blowing fuses.

It took 35 minutes to heat but not boil about 12 ounces of water in an insulated mug. Do not recommend.
