Well made and galvanised. I needed a grid that was strong enough to hold concrete slabs and ornamental stones for a water feature. This was a both a larger, stronger and better VFM grid than those that were constructed for the purpose. I had of course to modify the centre to take a standard square drain cover and allow access to pump. Easily accomplished with a small angle grinder (and lots of coats of grey Hammerite). Perhaps a hole in the market? Anyway pleased with the result.

I bought this to go beneath a compost bin… the worms will get through it no bother but I’d like to see a fox trying to get through it! I am fed up with foxes chewing and digging their way into my compost bins and then scattering rotting kitchen waste all over the garden.

Just the job this has saved me a world of pain just slots into place and jobs a good one
