It works!!!!
I discovered that I had a wasps nest in the ground in one of my borders which was near my fish pond, there was an entrance hole that the wasps were going in and out of but I couldn't see the nest underground. After a bit of research, the recommended way to get rid of this was to use a powder rather than a spray.I ordered this powder to try it out, it comes in a soft plastic container about 18 cm high by 6 cm in diameter and after removing the cap there is a small hole in the top so the powder can be blown out by squeezing the sides of the container. I'd read elsewhere that a reviewer had recommended finding a bit of soft clear plastic tube, drilling out the top hole to accommodate this so that the powder can be more accurately applied. I found some 9mm clear plastic tube in the garage, cut off about 30 cm and drilled a hole in the top of the bottle to allow a tight push fit. I waited to apply the powder at dusk when all of the wasps are back in the nest, I tipped the container on its side to allow a small amount of powder to drop into the tube, then I inserted this into the entrance to the nest and squeezed the sides of the container to blow the powder inside, it worked great keeping the powder inside the entrance and nowhere else as I was concerned about my fish pond, I only used a small amount of powder as I didn't want to block the entrance completely. I did this every other evening, I must admit that by the 3rd application the wasps seemed to have gone, so I applied the 4th just to make sure.I used a very small amount of powder, I've just removed the plastic tube, screwed the top on and put the container in the garage just in case I ever need it again as there is plenty left. Very pleased with the results, no more wasps and the price was really cheap to remove this threat, very happy.

It works, would recommend
So, I had a nest under the house, which was being accessed via an Air Brick at the back of the house.Annoyingly, meaning I couldn't have my doors open during this lovely hot weather. After reading countless forums, this product was the one that kept coming up.It works like ant powder, you squeeze the container, and the powder contents are disbursed where you aim.It is toxic stuff, so make sure you are protected, I used a decorators mask, but one of the more heavy duty ones, as I already had it.Ensure you cover up as much as possible, gloves, hat, hood, protective goggles, long trousers, tucked into your socks. Not a pleasant image, but better than risking being stung. As you can't really get to the actual nest, you have to make sure the powder covers each of the holes in the air brick, or they will just avoid it.Also, as my lounge runs the length of the house, I also had an air brick at the front, so this had to be treated as well. This is best done at night, or very early in the morning, before there is any real activity as the day warms up.Squeeze the container, all over the brick, and that's it.So, I am writing this review less than 24hrs after treatment, and I have to say, I have not seen one wasp today, no sign they were ever there.Hence I felt I had to write this review, as I was so pleased it just works.I intend to re treat the area at some point, but for the minute, no sign of the little critters!Would definitely recommend. Please note however, this is not for use if you have to be under the nest to treat it, or indeed up a ladder, in that case, I would call in the experts, but that's just my personal opinion.

Difficult to Puff - but lethal to wasps
The wasp entrance was tucked under the eaves. I found it difficult to puff the container in an upwards direction under the eaves. Due to this difficulty only a small quantity of powder was puffed around the hole. I fully expected to have to return to the task the very next day. However, although only a small amount of powder was puffed, it was lethal. There is absolutely no evidence of wasp activity the very next day.

It took many many applications for the thing to eventually work (6-7 applications over two weeks). It seems to work but very slowly. I went for holidays with some wasps still around but came back to lots of corpses on the ground and zero activity.

Faulty top
Can’t tell if it works, every time I squirt it the top pops off spilling the contents everywhere.

Cheap alternative that works
Pretty amazing stuff. I had a nest in an old air brick, which was sealed from the inside but still open outside. It was next to my sons bedroom window so the nest had to go.I did this during the evening as instructed and fired the dust into the air brick. Honestly, once you've done it, run! The wasps soon swarmed the area and we're obviously angry. I watched them attack the windows and anything else in their way. But, it wasn't long before they started to drop to the floor. This stuff is quick! The next day the nest was finished and the bodies of the wasps swept up.I feel guilty doing it, despite them being a pest. But needs must and this stuff is dynamite. Just be sensible how you use it.Lastly this stuff is toxic, especially to fish. Just a warning to those with a pond and a windy day.

Brilliant but need access to wasp entries
1.Had a wasp infestation within a dry stone wall near car parking. By puffing the powder into the areas that the wasps were entering the wall I managed to rid them all be it over three days so was very pleased. As soon as they touched the powder they started to weaken and deteriorate.2.We still have problems with wasps which are entering a thick firethorn hedge and we cannot see a nest anywhere. We think they are heading down to the base of the shrub and going underground. Because the shrub is so thick and prickly and there are so many wasps about I cannot see an entry point to puff the powder around or in to nor would I be able to access without disturbing wasps by moving or trimming back branches.3. Wasps entering an exiting a hole in a grassy bed in a different location all sorted by puffing lots of powder into the hole itself.I don't think I have ever seen so many wasps in so many different places around our property this year!
