GREAT FOR GROWING ON SEEDLINGS
Excellent price, good strong reusable product. Used to grow on my seedling plugs. Nice number in the purchase. Water holes keep things well drained if you over water.

Study plug plant trays
I was quite surprised with these plug plant trays. Good quality and study. Should get a few growing seasons out of them.

Great for germinating
These trays are great for starting off seeds, really good value with the amount you get. Currently have tomatoes and cucamelons growing in them!

Good design but unsure if food safe
These seed cells are a good depth, with plenty of drainage. The plastic is a reasonable thickness, they aren't flimsy but I suspect they'll only last one season. My main issue is the material from which it is constructed. This is advertised as being suitable for salads and vegetables, however having researched which plastics are safe for growing food, numerous sources advise avoiding PS (polystyrene) which is what this is made from. The vast majority of plastic plant pots are made from PP which is food safe - I just wish they had used PP to make this instead.

Sturdy enough to reuse multiple plantings.
I’m not just hoping to use these year after year, I’m hoping to use them multiple times in a season year after year. I’ve started petunia seeds in them and put them in solid bottom trays so that I can bottom water them. I started out misting them multiple times a day, but wow was that time consuming, and as it turns out, unnecessary. Bottom watering is working great and I’m going to have hundreds of petunias from seeds I saved from last year. My husband eyed my plastic bag of seeds one time and I tried to explain how valuable they were… he’s going to believe me once he sees the plants I’ve produced. My “greenhouse” is our mechanical room, so pardon the clutter. I’m thrilled with these and would buy more as needed.

These are really hard to find so I'm excited to use them. They are made a little more sturdy than some I've used in the past, good quality. I

Good compromise between cheap and flimsy vs lasts forever and priced high.
3.75 star review for me rounded to a 4.I've touched and worked with really cheap and flimsy 1020 cells that form cracks after as little as a season or two. These are a mm thicker, .43mm vs .54mm, then the cheapest cells. I'll be happy if they last me three or four seasons to be honest. For me I'm still in the early stages of gardening where I'm spending a good amount of money on acquiring high quality and long lasting equipment. Gardening isn't cheap in terms of up front investment cost for things such as drip irrigation, electronic zone timers, shade cloths, stakes, twine clips, hoops, hoop benders, raised garden beds, the soil to fill them, rakes, shovels, 1020 cells, 1020 trays, lights for seedlings, and the list keeps going. Luckily I won't have to purchase much of this equipment again for many many years. 1020 cells are in the acceptable to be disposable, if priced right category for me.Someone mentioned that these are flimsy and said buy from Bootstrap Farmer (BF) with a one star review. I do agree BF makes heavy duty equipment that is going to last probably twice as long as these cells will. BF cells your gonna have to fork over an extra 35% extra in cost for that benefit though. In three to four years from now when the startup equipment costs are behind me and these fail I'll probably upgrade but for now I feel like these are a good compromise.
