good flavor just a little hard

Albert's Black Cherry chews are fantastic , especially if you're a fan of chewy taffy candy that retains it's flavor. I only wish that I had discovered these tasty treats sooner and highly recommend them to anyone who appreciates a quality product!

Tastes great. Bit hard to start chew but softens quick. Think bit o honey.

Candy was way to hard compared to when buying out the grocery store

while this doesn't look like much... its SO DARN GOOD! they are a taffy type chew. the size is small enough I can manage them with my crowned teeth. they are not too sticky. to me, they seem just perfect. the taste is very black cherry candy flavor. they are not overly sweet and they dont have any tangy flavor that I cant eat. for very few calories you can get some good chomping in and be happy.

Chews are supposed to be taffy-like. These were hard enough to chip a tooth. There was a sticker on the bag that said that they expire in May 2023 (it's Feb 2023 as of this writing). I don't know what the length of time is between product production and expiration, but I have to assume that these are on the very old side of that length. If they didn't have that expiration sticker on them showing that they hadn't quite time-expired yet, I would have tried to return these. These are NOT chews, at least as I understand them. Even after you eventually chew (and chew and chew) on them enough to get them to soften somewhat, they still aren't quite right. The flavor is a bit better when you get them softer, but it is nowhere nearly good enough for all of the work. I don't know how anyone could eat 240 of these little bricks, especially in such a short expiration time. I have expensive dental work in my mouth and I'm not going to risk it on these!Avoid, avoid, avoid!!! One star.
