I just completed this devotional study guide for Second Timothy in the Bible using the four authors' SOAK method. S stands for "Scripture," and the reader is asked to write out the Biblical text assigned. O, or Observations, asks what stands out for the reader personally. A requires Application. How can you apply what you read to your life? and K is for "Kneel," meaning taking the text to prayer. All one needs is this workbook, Bible, and a pen. You will learn things about yourself and the friendship between Paul the Apostle and Timothy that you can apply in everyday thinking and life. I love this method and the idea of leaving a legacy to future generations with a letter to a beloved child at the end. I hope these authors write more study guides using the SOAK method for church study groups or individuals to grow in the faith.
