We used this type of scarf in the 50’s very nice

Bought these for baby to learn to pull through things (Montessori activity) and they work well enough, soft and bright colors. However, the threads in the edges keep fraying easily and get wrapped around fingers. Definitely not great quality, but they were cheap too, so I guess I got what I paid for.

My little one likes these for play but only when supervised. They do have a lot of strings that come away so have to keep an eye on that so I think for the quality I wouldn’t pay this much for these again.
