Before I purchased this item, I saw the reviews reporting a negative chemical smell from several posts, so I was prepared for the smell when the item arrived. When I opened the box, there was a heavy smell lingering that I am thinking is from some part of the treatment, so I let the vest air outside overnight. The smell was completely gone the next morning. There is no smell now at all. A plus to add, the 10lb weight is easy for me to manage, and the size is easily adjustable. A great benefit is that the way the vest sits on my shoulders and upper back instantly corrected the way my shoulders naturally lean forward, so my shoulders feel so good after the use. I have had both shoulders worked on with surgery removing an inch off of both my clavicles two years ago and this vest causes no discomfort, and after five uses has improved the mobility of my rotator cuffs. So happy!

I wear this vest on my indoor treadmill and outside walks for extra weight to help protect my bones and aide in my fitness. I am 5 3, 116 lbs and got the 20 lb vest and it works just fine for me, but I have been lifting weights for over 6 years, so I would only recommend starting with one that is 10% of your body weight to start. The weight is evenly distributed and the straps adjust to all body sizes. It is super easy to get on and off. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to up their resistance cardio activity!

I am 5’7 and roughly 155 lbs. I purchased the 15 lbs. I weight fit but needed to increase cardio intensity. Perfect fit and adjustable over chest. I was worried it would pull on my neck and shoulders but it feels very good. It keeps me in a Zone 2 while walking… without wearing it ..it was hard for me to get my heart-rate up.Extra benefit- helps my posture! Great price.

This is great and exactly as advertised. The quality is high. The only reason I have 4 stars is because it smells AWFUL. Like very chemically. I’ve had it airing out now since I got it in and the smell has reduced significantly so I think it’ll go away eventually.

I’m 5’9 with broad shoulders and a plus sized body. The vest straps are easily adjustable. The distribution of weight is comfortable. It did have a smell out of the box but it faded after the first 2 days. I immediately notice the difference in my walks and the design helps me keep a better posture. I debated between getting 15 or 20lbs and am very glad I started with 15. Despite fitting well, it feels heavier than I expected.

The material on this vest is really nice—stretchy and comfortable overall. I will say the strap across the front goes straight across the chest, which can be a little inconvenient if you're a woman. Also, the way the back sits, it tends to hit right at my scapula, which can get a little irritating during longer walks. I don’t think that’s a flaw in the design, though—probably just how these types of vests fit in general.I’m about 150 lbs and chose the 10 lb vest. It’s surprisingly heavy (in a good way!) and not adjustable, so I knew I had to pick a weight that would challenge me without being too much. You can definitely feel the difference when you wear it. I usually get about 10,000 steps a day, and this is definitely going to take my workouts up a notch.Overall, it’s a solid, well-made vest if you’re looking to add a little extra intensity to your walks or workouts!

I got the 10 lb one and it’s perfect amount of weight. Im a small girl at 110 lbs. The vest fits perfect. Isn’t bulky at all. Has a strap in the front to tighten it, which I tighten mostly all the way. I put it on and get on my stepper and you can definitely feel it in your legs and butt. Perfect for my workout routine. Would recommend!

Update: I have now had the vest airing out (both indoors and outdoors) for 9 full days and it is just as bad as it was out of the box. It’s completely unwearable. Returning immediately. Don’t waste your time or money. It’s not letting me take away stars, but if I could I’d give it 0 stars.Original review (3 stars): I’ve had the vest for a little over 24 hours and haven’t been able to wear it because of the unbearable chemical smell. I’ve been letting it air out outside and inside, and while it’s less horrific than it was yesterday, I still can’t even walk into the room where it is hanging without my eyes watering. It fits perfectly, and I love the color. The weight is distributed really well and it feels very comfortable, but again, I can’t wear it for more than a minute because of the smell.If it doesn’t significantly improve over the next couple days I will be returning it and dropping my rating even more. I’m so upset because a bought this to try to improve my long term health and longevity, but I’m now afraid wearing it would actually damage my health rather than improve it.
