Got it for my mom for mother's day and we both loved it! Only concern is I wish the box that it came in had fragile labels on it. The box did say on it, what was inside, so it may have not been necessary. It was packed great and is beautiful and made well!!

The birds love it! Three were enjoying it and a fourth tried to get in there. Made for small birds. Viewed a video sent by the friend I gifted it to. Very beautiful feeder.

its very pretty & heavy but there is lots of blackpowder rubbing off on my hands - I have no idea what it is but its very strange - almost like coal - I'm concerned that it will make my birds sick

I added two feeders like this to my Amazon list for Christmas (photo included of both hanging outside my kitchen window). We have a lovely set of windows in the kitchen and I thought it would be great for cardinal watching.It did take several days for my feathered friends to find it, as is usual when placing a new feeder, but now they are warming up to it. No cardinals yet but the black capped chickadees and white breasted nuthatches are loving it. We used a long eyehook just under the roof line to keep most of the rain out and to keep squirrels out. So hard I've had no issues with either. I'm loving watching the little birds come grab a snack while I'm in my kitchen!

I bought this as a gift for myself. I love adding pretty pieces to decorate my outside just like I would inside my house. As pretty as it is, I thought it was great putting bird seed in it for about a week. Birds would sit instead it and it looked adorable until the squirrels wrecked the party. Since the piece is heavy on it’s own, if a squirrel would jump on it, they would manage to either break or bend tree branches until the feeder would hit the ground. Luckily, it is sturdy and withstood the several falls. I have since given up on filling it with bird seed. Maybe you can blame the squirrels and not the product, but it is no longer a bird feeder.
