Very sweat lamp in the bathroom

my husband is handy but never did electrical, he was still able to get it up in 30 min, easy install. its absolutely gorgeous. the price is unbeatable. love it

Liked the looks and was easy to install. Biggest complaint is that the mounting bracket that attaches to the electrical box is not precisely made - leaves a gap of about 1/8 -1/4 inch between ceiling and light fixture. Debated about carving out the 1/4" from the drywall but didn't want the gypsum in the drywall exposed to bathroom moisture. May try to use multiple layers of caulk to close the gap.

I ordered the VCJYXZC Pendant Light with Oil Rubbed Bronze Metal Glass Shade and Adjustable Cord to replace an old brass chandelier. The bronze color of the metal pieces is very attractive and I really like the brown fabric that covers the wires giving it a higher end look over the chain my previous light used. The cut glass shade is very thick and heavy duty and reflects the light well. The light came with everything needed to install (besides the tools) and included a "just in case" second set of all the screws and wire caps which I appreciated. Installation went smoothly but instructions were lacking. The information sheet included with the lamp only has a photo of how things fit together but no step by step instructions. It mentions an installation video you can watch but doesn't tell you where to find it other than "Open the lamp link to view the installation video". What lamp link? Despite the lack of detailed instructions I was able to work out the installation on my own as it was all pretty straight forward. There were some pieces included that I did not need (hollow threaded rods, rubber sleeves, extra screws). I'm not even sure where they were supposed to be used as they are not in the installation photo. There wasn't an inventory list included, so they'll just have to remain a mystery. The glass shade on this light is shallow and I didn't like how a regular led lamp bulb looked in it. I am using a smaller appliance sized bulb in it instead and feel it looks much better without a larger bulb hanging out below the shade. A larger Edison bulb might be a good fit though. This light is a nice upgrade from my previous light and I am very happy with how it looks.

I'd been looking for a replacement ceiling light for a while, and had not seen anything that really caught my eye - until this pretty light showed up. The frosted glass bowl is lovely, and the dark metal pieces really set it off and make it work perfectly in my living room - where it replaces a cheap builder's version. The price was right for me, and it arrived super fast. I'm very pleased.
