Great receipt printer. I was completely lost on how to install the printer driver, so I went onto Volcora's website and reached out to customer support with screenshots of the issues I was having, and the solution they suggested got it working right away. Super happy with my receipt printer (: It prints and cuts quickly. By the way, you'll need to know that the printer model is V-WRP2-A1, POS-80C, and you can install the driver here: https://volcora.com/pages/support-centerJust go to the Receipt Printers tab on the left, and then go to the V-WLRP5-A1 & V-WRP2-A1 Series tab at the top. I’m using this receipt printer with Lightspeed X series on a laptop running Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS. I downloaded the driver from Volcora’s website and installed using instructions supplied with the driver download. Everything works perfectly. Print speed and darkness of print are excellent. I could not be more pleased with this printer. A+++ for providing Linux drivers. Everything suggest this is from a company that pays attention to the details.

Works perfectly but I ordered the incorrect model. I thought I selected the wifi model but I guess I didn't...

Despite the seller's/manufacturer's assurances otherwise, this printer is not compatible with Square POS. I spent quite a lot of time troubleshooting it only to get it to show up as "connected but with issues." None of the troubleshooting steps from Volcora fixed it, either.And even if it had worked, it wouldn't have been worth the trouble. You have to use a Windows computer and download very specific software in order to change settings on the printer, all so you can trick Square into thinking it's an Epson printer.Not worth the hassle, and, in my experience, faulty advertising.

When it works, this printer is fantastic. Getting in on network / ethernet is the biggest pain in the you know what. If USB gets connected, that will take over, took us 3 days to figure out why it stopped working. Recently we had the network redone for more commercial, now we simply can't get it back online. Apparently it's not compatible with any network not using 192.168.x.x. For the IT wizes out there. It's network is a 1/2 duplex, slow. A good 10 second delay from register to receipt. We are shopping brand name, as this has been a pain for our customers for the last time.

I can't tell you how it works becuz it didn't come with even 1 roll of the thermal paper and no stores in my town have the paper so now it will be at least 4 or 5 days before I can receive the paper rolls. Can't believe it didn't come with at least 1 roll of thermal paper! Very disappointed!
