stable if you set it correctlly
Used it yesterday( Windy day) and it is stable. the key point is to keep it taut and adjust the front poles if the wind shifts during the day. it will be stable once you adjust it correctly. Nice!

Didn’t Last Long
I’ve used this canopy maybe 5 times and it broke on the 5th. The umbrella part snapped without any extreme circumstances (I.e. high winds, overuse, etc.). Not worth the money

Easy assembly, fairly lightweight, but a few quality issues
QUICK SUMMARY: I love the idea of using a lightweight cabana to use at the beach. This item, though, I merely like, not love, because there are too many little issues I have with it. Still, I'm glad to use it as an alternative to a beach umbrella.BACKGROUND: I live two miles from the Atlantic Ocean, and my family and I like going to the beach throughout the year. When we go midday, it's imperative to have a beach umbrella or other sunshade to avoid getting sunburned. I've never had a cabana like this before, but I've wanted one for a long time. When I selected this item, I was eager to try it out with some of my family members. We went to the beach today, so what follows is my assessment after using beach umbrellas for many, many years.WHAT I LIKE:- This is fairly lightweight at about 9lbs. It's decidedly heavier than a beach umbrella, but it offers more shade than a beach umbrella, so that's the trade-off.- It was easy to assemble at the beach. Here's my process: I dig a hole in the sand, firstly, then put the lower half pole section into the sand and fill-in the hole with sand. That's much, much easier than trying to twist the pole into the sand with the accompanying aluminum pin. Then, I expand the canopy (which was easy to do, it works like an umbrella with four, flexible fiberglass poles extending from the main pole section to the corners of the canopy) and insert this section into the lower half pole section I've securely inserted into the sand. After that, we fill-in the sewn-in sandbags with sand to secure everything. The last step is adding the optional side wall, which we needed to do since the sun was a few hours from setting so the sunlight wasn't coming directly overhead, but from the side.- The included sidewall section is what really makes a cabana great. By having the overhead canopy and the sidewall, there's a huge amount of shade cast onto the sand when using this item later in the afternoon. We had a lot more shade to sit under than when we simply use a single, large, beach umbrella.- It was easy to disassemble, too. First, detach the side wall and then empty the pockets of sand along the bottom edge of the side wall which kept the side wall taut. Then, remove the canopy and fold it up (after removing the sand inside the four sewn-in sandbags). Lastly, pull out the section of the main pole that's stuck down in the sand. Put it all in the storage bag and you're done!WHAT COULD BE BETTER:- Overall, I found the quality of the construction to be somewhat lacking. Firstly, my beach canopy came with several black spots on one side of the roof section.- The storage bag's carrying strap is not nearly strong enough for rugged, outdoor use. It's much too thin. This strap should have been double the width and have a lot more sewing done to strongly affix the strap to the storage bag. This is a nine pound cabana! As-is, it won't surprise me one bit if the strap breaks off the storage bag while I'm carrying it to the beach one day. It's just too flimsy to carrying 9lbs of cabana for many trips to the beach.- The aluminum pin that you insert into the lower section of the main pole (so you can twist the pole into the sand) is affixed to the pole with a chain, but the chain came loose on our first usage of this cabana, so now the pin isn't attached to the main pole section any longer. For me, that's not much of a problem since I hand-dig a hole instead of trying to twist the pole into the sand to secure the main pole.- See the attached picture. Notice the canopy edge on the front of the cabana; it's off-center. This is the kind of quality you can expect should you elect to purchase this item. It's not a 5-star constructed item. I, like the other reviewers, really like having and using this cabana at the beach. But it's not a 5-star item. Expect minor imperfections like the one's I've described if you choose to buy this cabana.CONCLUSION: In spite of the imperfections, I'm really glad to have a portable cabana to use at the beach. It won't replace using a beach umbrella, which is much lighter and quicker to use. But for instances when you're with a group of other people and you want more shade than what a single umbrella can offer, this is a great choice.

Too bulky
Good quality but didn’t break down as small as I’d like.

The best canopy I’ve ever had !
So worth it! !This is hands down the best! It is perfect size for our party of 2. It holds up well on the beach for whole day. We live in California and frequent the beach often. This Canopy is the best one we have used.

Really nice, but not perfect
I used this umbrella/cabana at the beach and overall was very satisfied. It looks really nice, it was easy to setup(it screws in the sand and there is kind of stick to insert in the pole to give you a temporary handle for screwing... Sorry thats the best I can describe it), the sand pocket make it very sturdy even in windy condition and the curtain side was very handy to protect from wind and give us extra shadow. Size was exactly as expected and the setup feels really cozy. Also, from what I could see, I think the canvas can be removed from the metal rods to be washed.I like everything except the plastic parts look a bit cheap and not very solid. I'm scared it could break easily but I guess time will tell, I'll be gentle with it.Overall, really nice product nervertheless. I would recommend it.
