Very inexpensive bulk tree pots
Like others have said these pots are a bit thin, however considering the price, I give them 5 stars. I wouldn't expect to find 100 thick plastic tree pots for 30 bucks. You can find the thicker ones on-line but be prepared to spend a lot more. Regarding the smell; separate them, which I didn't find difficult, and they quickly air out. I've already potted up about 15 rooted cuttings, White Marseilles figs and Peggy Martin roses, and they are perfectly adequate for those. I give a lot of rooted cuttings away to my local gardening friends and was looking for a cheaper way to give away potted plants. These certainly fit the bill.

Better than I expected!
These pots have great drainage, great depth, and while they aren't extremely durable, they aren't as flimsy as I expected them to be with how many negative reviews I read. They do have trouble standing on their own but I expected that and I put them in an old tub to keep them standing. They are also probably not reusable so keep that in mind, but they are perfect for starter trees.

Flimsy and thin
Super flimsy and thin. Basically slightly more rigid than a contractor yard garbage bag shaped like a pot. Not worth it IMO.

A bargain for a deep tree pot/sleeve.
Since you're looking for a tree pot let me tell you now that this is enough for your needs. I have a few shorter "sleeves" from my berry plants I bought this year. Those were solid as in it will break if you apply pressure . I was saving them and trying not to give them away with the plants. These are cheap enough that I'm ok giving it away. They may be flimsy but stand up on their own just fine. I wouldn't call these plastic bags which I also use. They do become round rather than staying square shape but that's also fine. These are the deepest sleeves I've found so far.I plan on experimenting on cutting out a single larger hole like the other sleeves that I have bottom lined with coir so that when removing the plant you merely push it out.It does have a smell to it as it's a newly made plastic just keep it outside. I found its best to remove from the bottom of the stack. If you place the open end of the pot on the table and create an M with your hands you can push in to remove the pot.I haven't reached the pots that are squished to know if it's melted together, or torn.Great price if you catch a sale. Product works as it should and holds its shape well. These will help give those roots a lot of space to get the plants to a big size. (Plants were from repotting)

Decent quality tree pots, will at least get the job done.
Decent for the price. I needed a bunch of tree pots for some fig propagation and these were the cheapest I could find. I read the reviews and notice people making remarks on the quality, thickness and smell. What youโll read is true. The pot is very thin and flimsy but if you use a square container to hold a bunch of pot upright then they are fine. It does have a harsh chemical plastic smell when you first open the box but goes away after a bit. It holds about the same volume as a 1 gallon nursery pot if not a bit more. All in all it did the job I needed to do. I would give it 4 stars maybe even 5 if it was a bit more thick and rigid at least enough to hold shape and uprightness when filled.
User
Thin and flimsy. More like a bag than a pot. And horrible burnt plastic smell!
Edit - I let them sit outside and much of the smell dissipated but it still concerns me it's there to begin with. But for the price I can put a lot of plants per tray with these so i decided I'll get more.I took a gamble on these despite the bad reviews because I wanted them the next day. They're SO thin, they are more like a plastic bag than a pot. And I thought the reviews complaining about the toxic burnt plastic smell would be overblown, but no- they're disgusting. And it does make your hands stink. So who knows what chemicals you're absorbing right there, let alone your plants. I recommend getting something else.

Great to use for starting plants and trees
Order arrived on time and work well for starting my Mango seeds. Only dislike is it can be a little tricky to make the bottom flat so they don't tip over.I fill the pot 3/4 with the dirt wet soil let it sit then drop it on a hard flat surface several times till it forms a flat bottom abd stands up right. Once its stable I plant my seeds. If doing a lot of trees I like putting them in milk cartons to store and move them around.

Ideal for sprouting young trees and palms
These pots turned out to be perfect for sprouting and growing Mesquite and California Desert Palms. They are deep enough to provide appropriate depth for their long roots during the early stages of growth. They are also easy to remove the young plant for transplanting. I am very happy with this item as it allows much more flexible storage of the growing plant than solid plastic could provide during the early growth stages.

Works well
I like these! I saw lots of folks complaining about the thinness or quality or they were hard to seperate or they found them to have a strong smell but I think they are fine and had no problem. They are being used outside so the smell is not an issue for me.
