Sublime: $5 at the Door

Left a few details out
The writing and the storyline were great, but this book fails to include a crucial detail of the band's history. Their singer's death from a drug overdose isn't mentioned in it whatsoever. I'm sure this was done intentionally, but it leaves an unaware reader to believe the band lived happily ever after... and any Sublime fan will tell you that was far from the case.I just don't think it's right to mislead a reader, even if there are very dark aspects of a band's career. That's why I'm giving it four out of five stars, but other than that it was an entertaining read.

Wow, just wow!
I'm a massive fan of Sublime, and I would've bought this book regardless of the reviews. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the content offered in this book! The imagery is so fun to analyze and view, and the stories are written in such a nice/easy to follow way. The Lou Dog stories were so truly heartwarming and left me smiling every single time. It's a pretty quick read overall, but you'll be picking the book up more than once for sure. A MUST HAVE for any Sublime fan!

Big Sublime fan, happy with this
Really enjoyed this. Expectations were fairly low and was surprised how well the writer and illustrators captured the essence of the band’s history as friends, first. Seriously recommend for true-blue Sublime lovers.
