It isn’t sticky until you iron it. Kind of hard to use if putting pieces together.

I am an amateur sewer with my wife's machine. I have figured out how to use it but the fine points of sewing I lack. I got this tape to help hold the turned in edges of some frayed pants cuffs and some that just needed re-stiching. I used my wife's iron to tack the tape down on the cuff, then turned it under and pressed it again to hold it while I stiched. I followed directions and just hit the end to hold it down while I aligned the tape to finish the job. Worked perfectly. All my pants are sewn and put away. I don 't need a tape that holds through washing, just for a temporary fix. If that is your objective it will work for you.

Just like I saw in a you tube video, this product repaired a couple small tears in my nylon shell light insulation vest.

Problems getting product to adhere completely. On a continuous run, some areas would adhere and some wouldn't even after repeated ironing. Wonder if product is old

This particular product is THE BEST on the market...and I have tried a lot of them! I teach sewing and help students sew faster and better....use it often in class. I keep the smaller width in my workshop/studio. Works for many applications - especially making zippers stay still during application.

Maybe I'm not doing not right but this stuff does not iron on and barely holds anything in place. It's very hard to work with and bunches up and does not stuck. I sent this back not what I thought but was.
