Car Window Screen for MPV & Minivan Sliding Door 2 Pack Shade for Camping

I bought this for a 2020 Nissan Murano and the “front window up to 40 inches”, fit perfectly. I wouldn’t drive with it on- the mesh is very dark & it’s hard to see cars around you. Having said that, this is great for shade and privacy. I’m glad I bought this because summers are getting hotter and without this the windows are like a magnifying glass. This does help with cooling and as far as fold ability goes, you can roll it up into a ball! This was an excellent value at $12.79 because it was just over $6/a piece.

These fit well over the side door windows of our 2019 Toyota Sienna. There is a clip that you have to reach behind the sliding door to clip when it is open and it realistically takes two people to do it. They don't impede the doors opening or closing and don't really get in the way from inside the vehicle.. The mesh is very fine and will not let any insects in. You could leave them in place while driving if needed. Overall, we like them and they definitely help provide air movement when there is a breeze outside.

Work great on front window of Golf or GTI. I've had a pair of these for the rear door windows, so it was great to see there is now a version that works for the front. The hole that lets it wrap around the mirror and the elongated shape for the front window make it easy to use and the fit is excellent. Great to keep out light and bugs, but let in air. I use my vehicle for camping so these are a great invention. I have WeatherTech vent shades on the windows and these work fine with those installed. Very stretchy and can conform to most window shapes.

It looks cheap because it is cheap. However, the seams seem to be sewn well enough and it "fits" like a fitted sheet around the door. It does the job. Now we'll have to see how long it lasts before ripping. No expectations this lasts longer than six months to a year before the weather causes the stitching to dry-rot or come apart, or the sheer force of the wind on it to create tears and holes.

These are fantastic. I was going to spend $300 to have my windows tinted for the summer. The summer sun turns the inside of my car into an inferno with the windows shut, sun pouring in. I saw these and thought I would try them. So many reasons why these are great. 1st. They work. 2nd. They're very easy to take on and off. There is an opening, much like the opening for your thumb on a long sleeve top, that slips over the side mirror. Then you just pull this over your window frame just like a t-shirt over your head. When you want to take it off just slip it over the window door frame but leave it still slipped over the side mirror. Be sure to pull it inside the car before you drive so it doesn't get ruined. 3rd. With this over your windows you can still roll your windows down releasing even more hot air and no one can see that your widow is open. I leave the passenger one on all the time. Because you can see through it and it meets the regulations of how dark your window is allowed to be tinted by law, at least where I live it does. The only flaw that I have encountered is that the material is rather not that durable and multiple "ons and offs" have made tiny tears. These can easily be mended with a thread and needle. Or given they are less that $20 just buy another one but it's not really going to be an issue. Just be careful how you take them on and off. So far I'm very happy and have saved myself nearly $280. Definitely will always have these on my car windows for the summer. Oh, and get the ones for your rear windows. These are for your front windows and the back window pair work the same way.

These work in terms of fitting over the door frame, but my doors have so much curve in it that it leaves a big gap at the bottom for bugs to get in, so actually doesn’t work to keep bugs out. I had to return them.

It begins with an alert jump to their feet. Followed by pacing. Then they "nose" me in the back so I snuggle closer to my husband, who is facing me, so I turn over. This movement is apparently the signal that I want, no I NEED my dogs to pant in my face. If I shush them with low reassurance they respond with long whines, and then I feel like they must need to go out, even though we take a long walk before bed. There are mosquitoes out there and I'm in my jammies, so I shimmy on any clothes I can grab. My loving husband gets his clothes on, we prepare leashes, flashlights and walk the dogs hoping not to encounter a bear. They don't pee. My normally well behaved canines become a SWAT team busting chipmunk parties and trying to lick toads. We are 100% awake and the dogs believe we are enjoying this nature raid, though I make myself pretty clear we do not. This was our pattern of camping, until I discovered these screens! I make a fun dog bed in the van with a treat-filled puzzle toy, they have water and their blankets and these screens keep out the mosquitoes and let in the lake breeze. I can look in on them and they are happy and content and we ALL get the rest and relaxation we came camping for!! I've read other reviews who struggled, but it is this easy!!! *1. BEFORE the mosquitoes come out:LOWER the side van window & OPEN the sliding door 2. The screen goes on the outside of the van (so condensation dew doesn't make interior wet) Drape screen on the corners of the top of your sliding door. 3. Reach inside the open window to clip the elastic belt inside the van and adjust screen to cover the whole window 4. Close the van door 5. Raise window for desired air flow. We put it down maybe 4-6" so even excited dogs don't boop noses into it and disturb seal. 6. The first time you use these, climb inside and make sure the elastic belt is providing a good seal for the screen in case the elastic needs to be a little more snug. I added a little black Plastic Spring Stop Toggle Cord Lock to the provided screen storage pouch and now i leave this in my van so I cannot forget these on any camping trip!

Finally one that fits! Hi, have been looking for a window screen that would fit my car. This is like the fourth one I’ve ordered this one finally fits. I like that. It has a little pouch to store it in the one thing I didn’t like was one of them had Velcro straps attached the other one they were falling off of them, literally holding on by a string so I’m handing enough to sew them back on, so I’m keeping them, however check them both when you get them. I’m really hoping that they will work well for car camping. I did check them both to make sure they fit the windows and they do that well.

Perfect for car camping, when needing to block the front windows out but still get some air through.

For reference, I have a Mazda 5. This fits so much better than the suction style screen that I had before. It covers the whole sliding door window, it blocks most of the sun on the baby and I can still see through it while driving. I also love that I can have the windows down. The mesh is delicate so it's great for summer when the weather is consistently dry. I will have to remove it in the fall to preserve it, but that's not a surprise.
