Merrell Women's Siren Sport

i had owned a pair of these shoes for 10 years before the plastic lace eyehole broke off and the outer material began to show wear. i loved all 10 years of them. when i read reviews that the style, fit, and performance had changed, i was discouraged and ended up buying my usual size and a 1/2 size larger in case they were smaller as other reviewers had posted. i'm happy to say that these look, fit, and perform just as well as my old pair. they are waterproof, comfortable, and look almost identical to my old pair.

These shoes are amazing, since my first pair they are the only brand I will buy. I love the memory liner inside the shoes, they mold to your feet and add to their comfort. I fell down the stairs a few years ago and fractured a vertebra, ever since I have suffered sciatic pain when I stand or walk too much; however, these shoes have allowed me to go on walks and stand around at social events without later suffering the sciatic pain. They have good support and thick soles and amazing memory liners definitely well worth every penny.

I purchased this Merrell walking/hiking shoe so that when my existing identical Merrell Siren Sport shoes wear out I will not be disappointed if the design is no longer available... just as a cautionary measure. They are so comfortable, supportive and light that I hardly know I'm wearing shoes ! I've been using them as the shoe I do my almost daily exercise walk/hikes in, ( 30 min. - 1 hr. + ), for the past year, at least, and the soles are finally showing signs of wearing down, but I believe they still have another 9 mos. or so of life left in them. The tops do not show signs of wear, for the most part. The colors are perfect; they are tasteful and blend nicely with jeans. The dirt doesn't show readily and they are very easy to sponge down and air dry, when needed. The insole is removable, and adds a nice comfortable support. I definitely recommend them !

If worn with standard cotton socks they feel slightly roomy, but with a pair of medium-weight hiking socks they fit perfectly. I wondered if they'd be too tight with Thorlo socks, but they feel great. The toe-box is just the right length, and even with thick socks my toes have some space and don't hit the end. Style and color are pleasing and even a good match for the Thorlos. Good design, good quality, love these hiking shoes.

I'm not an experienced hiker, but these are nice, comfortable, light-weight shoes. They likely aren't something to hike the Rockies with, but state parks and such they are perfect. They are very light and sneaker comfy, so I love to wear them. They have a lot of mesh and are not at all waterproof. Even when it drizzled, my feet felt noticeably wet. I wish something with this fit and comfort came in water proof. I had a pair of merrel ankle high boots and they were the most uncomfortable shoes. My toes slammed into the front with every step - no size worked right. So glad that when I bought these merrell's, they were super comfy. Definitely recommend for light use.Update - it seems when I wear these shoes, they make the top of my left foot sore. Can't figure out why and its only my left foot. I wouldn't detract from anyone buying these, but just a point I wanted to make...maybe I should stop buying Merrells!

bought a pair of these last year for a 28 mile hike...started breaking them in with multiple 10 mile hikes and a 20 mile hike, but never really needed to break them in at all...very comfortable right out of the box. after that put at least another 100 miles on them. just got a new pair and they are equally comfortable. i tried the newer version the merrel siren sport 2 and they are very stiff. returned them and got these (which are also less expensive)....they are also very water resistent...have sunk into many puddles and deep into mud and my socks stayed dry

Initially I was going to rate the seller with Zero stars due to initial problems with my order.....however the seller fixed the problem to my complete satisfaction. As for the shoes.....they are by far the best pair of shoes I have ever bought. I relied soley on others reviews as I have never owned this brand before. After wearing these I know I will be ordering more in the future....and hopefully will not have any issues with the ordering process again. Shoes are very light weight and extremely comfortable from the very first wear!LOVE THEM!!!

Top notch quality, and fit as sized. These excellent quality hikers, feel like they have orthotics in the bottom of them, they are so supportive and comfortable!
