3 Pack Wasp Nest Decoy - Eco Friendly Hanging Wasp Repellent

Fab!
I've bought fake wasp nests for the last couple of years and wouldn't be without them as I'm petrified of wasps. You need to put them up the beginning of March when spring is on its way. This is when the Quen wasp will begin to come out of hibernation and start to look for suitable places to start her nest and start laying her eggs. Wasps are territorial and won't build near an already established nest, so this will help to prevent nests being built near your home and later, during summer will deter wasps from making a nuisance of themselves in your garden. If you put them up later and a nest is already built nearby they don't work! The only time I have seen wasps is around September/October time when they are looking for food and are starting to die off. But by then usually im not sitting in my garden as much anyway. The trick is to make sure you put them out beginning of spring and under some form of cover if possible, near to most problem areas. I put one in my tree at bottom of garden near my shed, one under guttering out front and one near my conservatory. I always have spares to replace if required and have found them to be a great summer solution to sitting out in the sunshine in peace!

Fantastic value amazing product
My husband is allergic to wasp stings and just one could kill him but these fake nests are life changing. We have tried all Manor of deterents over the years but nothing ever seemed to work long term, until we tried these about 5 years ago. We now have one hanging on our patio and one further down the garden every year. I keep the 3rd as a back up if the others get broken. If not used it is stored ready to be pulled out at the start of the next season while I order a new pack. Whilst these won't stop 100% of wasps visiting your garden they will significantly reduce it. My husband now feels confident enough to enjoy the garden and even fall asleep in the chair.

Best Purchase This Year - Wasps galore, cleared within the hour, Hows That
Bought this item previously, it worked so well my daughter had issues with wasps in her loft and outside in the garden, with small children playing in this garden in heat of this summer, she asked me if they really worked well I showed her the video of our issue. On seeing it we bought this pack of 3 for her. prompt delivery and reasonable price. Please be aware if placing outside ensure its under a rain sheltered area as they are flimsy paper and you may wish to add a little weight as in blustery weather it may get damaged, I take it down if its too windy. I would still buy these again and again, just great.

Disappointing
These are well made and look good but... I didn’t realise when I ordered them that they couldn’t be hung up outside in the open as the rain would disintegrate them they have to be hung under cover.

Ineffective
According to the reviews on the product description page for this item, I bought to repell bees as I have a shrub which is full of small bees. But it is completely ineffective and has not repelled them at all. Whilst it was not an expensive item, it simply did not do what the seller claimed it would. So a total waste of money.

It works
We hung this over our garden table which was under an olive tree at our self catering cottage in greece. It seemed to have the desired effect and we weren't bothered by wasps despite eating fruit salads etc so we were very happy with it and with us again especially as it is flat and easy to pack

It works!
I was a bit sceptical about whether what is essentially a paper lantern (!) could keep wasps at bay but decided to give these a whirl. Every summer I have had roughly 2 months of swarms of wasps boozing on the nectar from my willow tree and then falling down drunk in the grass… not nice for human summer al fresco living. All I can say is since I put these up in the tree (2 years now) There has been no wasp partying in my garden and I can now enjoy sitting out!

Fools the wasps
Bought for my Mum who has had wasps nests in previous years and wants to deter them from nesting again. Very realistic and so far has deterred wasps from building a nest in/on the house.
