Fast, wireless phone charger automatically opens and closes holder's arms when dash is powered on
You have to see this gadget to believe it!To look at it, you wouldn't know how special it is. For a start, there are the usual things to get this attached to your dashboard:- a suction cup to mount to the flat plane of the dashboard top, with a latch to suction it down- a mid-arm piece with adjustability in the arm to angle it as close or far from the dash vents as you need, with a latch to hold the position- a phone holder with arms on left and right of phone and a ledge at bottom of phone, with a typical circular collar in the back to screw the ball head tight once you adjust the angle to your liking- a USB cord with the USB-C end that plugs into the device and the other end being a USB-A to plug into your car's cigarette lighter power adapter (you supply the adapter)I got the arms all adjusted nicely, but I did have a bit of trouble with it staying stuck to the dashboard. This was solved by putting it on a 3M circular plate that was still left on the dashboard from another one of my old dash mounts. At first, I didn't read the directions and I went a little crazy looking at the gadget and trying to figure out how to pop the left and right arms open to put my phone in. And THEN I stopped to read the instructions! You don't have to worry about opening the arms. You just have to get this all set up and plugged into your cigarette lighter for power. Then start the power running to the dash and THE ARMS OPEN AUTOMATICALLY. Next you put your phone into the device and when it is seated properly THE ARMS CLOSE AUTOMATICALLY.I can confirm that my Samsung S21 G with a Moment Case on it is able to be charged wirelessly and at fast charging speed. The other two ways that you could mount this is suction to the windshield or use the included vent mount piece.I love how quickly I can get my phone into the holder and start driving. And I also don't have to fiddle and find the charging cord since it's always going to wirelessly charge when placed in the holder. I think it has sensing because I haven't had problems with overcharging. The one downside that I see with the device is that it will take time to switch the orientation from portrait to landscape because I have to reach around and unscrew the plastic collar piece in the back to loosen it and then tighten it back down after I switch the orientation.I think the advantages vastly outweigh this one minor complaint and I love this device!

Does not work for Samsung Flip 3
I really wanted to love this. I am disappointed in the ability to charge the Samsung flip 3. It will pick up the phone to charge it every so often but not consistently. The unit growls at me when I put my phone in....not sure what gears are still trying to open/close but it's not helping it charge anything. It did work for my dad's iPhone (newer model) which is a year or so old now.The suction cup base is very secure and I had a really hard time un-installing it. I tried to exchange it thinking maybe I had a faulty unit, but the 2nd one didn't work for me either.

Great wireless charger/phone holder
The instruction manual provided is very hard to read as it is very a small print, but the setup is pretty self-explanatory, so I didn't really need to use it at all. The suction cup is mounted on my dashboard and it's holding up very well as it's been on there for a little over a month now, and no budge. The wire it comes with is 3 ft, so the length is perfect for using in the car. I have an iPhone XR and it holds the phone very well, nice grip. Overall, this phone holder and charger is great for the price,

Works great!
Using this in my VW Atlas with a Google Pixel Pro 7 and it works very well! It takes up minimal space and is not distracting to use at all. Charges my phone wirelessly and is very sleek looking.

Worked fairly well for a few months, but...
This did well at first, easily charging and holding the phone automatically. Bought this about 8 months ago and now it's failing. Doesn't sense the phone and the button to close the arms isn't responding. Definitely disappointed!

Trash - not built to last more than a month
The media could not be loaded. DON'T BUY.Initial review was August 14th. By September 4th, it started to fail. There are motors to control the arms that grip the phone and to line up the charging coil inside the charger with the phone's wireless charging coil. The arms are slowly dying. The motor inside is useless and does not wireless charge anymore.---------I've been using this charger for a few weeks ( plus 3 weeks as of this review update) now and am (very disappointed). Wireless charging (was) convenient, but (was) a lot slower than using the USB-C connection to charge the phone.I bought this mostly for the phone stand, and it's done surprisingly well at that. I have a dimpled dash in my car, so didn't want to use the suction cup - I don't think it'll hold. I can't comment on how well it works. (It's still solid in the air vent). The vent clip felt extremely flimsy at first, and fell at first, but has done well after finding what I think is better placement - and really pushing it into the vents to get it stuck. One thing I like about this design is that it has a third stabilizing leg under the clip to provide extra support. You can see it in the attached photo. I thought it was just a gimmick, but it seems to actually help. It hasn't come flying out of the vent since the first day.As I said, the wireless charging (was) pretty slow, that's just a fact with my Google Pixel and non-Google chargers; they charge at a lower rate. Thankfully there is a space at the bottom of the charger that lines up with my phone's USB-C port and I can just plug in my charging cable there before setting it in the cradle. The cradle itself has a nice feature where the arms on the left and right open and close to fit snugly on phones of different horizontal lengths. There's a dimpled, touch button on the right side of the mount that closes and opens the buttonsMy previous phone mount was just a vent clip with a magnetized top. My previous phone didn't have wireless charging, so this worked out. My new phone needed an upgrade and I think this is a nice upgrade. It's bulkier than the old mount, but it also has far more features.I DO NOT recommend this, (3 weeks after my initial review, the charger has stopped wireless charging. The mechanical arms that grip the phone are also slowly failing. It's not built to last. It's disposable trash.)I saw another reviewer here post about their phone displaying an overheating message... This also happened to me. I thought it was from being near the windshield on a sunny and hot day, but it might have been due to this charger over charging, which is dangerous and detrimental to the phone battery's lifespan
