Great Canister Vacuum.
A great unit! We bought one that was used, with the attachments being a bit different. Nevertheless, the base unit and suction power is better than we thought it would be. We've had to clean the washable filter a couple times as the vacuum power ebbs, but it's a good thing as the filter was clogged with fine dust and dirt that our other vacuums didn't pick up. Overall, a good canister vacuum that I'd recommend for others.

Do not buy
Broken 3 times during 2 years of use. Great suction and relatively quiet, but very poor quality, and very inefficient customer support.Had to call 3 times last malfunction and my last conversation with support lasted 53 minutes, and my issue is still not solved.Do not buy.

the worst Vacuum cleaner ever made
the worst Vacuum cleaner ever made. It weights a ton and the cleaning girl can barley carry it up the steps to the second floor. Power is insufficient and not mobile at all. Stay away from this junk. Not to mention the nozzle snap at head wear it goes into power brush. I got them on the phone and the dumbest customer service people try to help you. 4 times they sent me the wrong parts after a detailed description . So it sits in the basement ,totally useless.

Great Vacuum
I have read so negative reviews of Samsung vacuums but I have no idea why. They are solidly built and intelligently designed. A lot of thought has gone into their design, they are quite, they have multiple speeds that the motor can run at, multiple attachment heads for different surfaces, carpet, tile/parquet flooring, curtains etc. The on/off brush motor and speed buttons are all on the handle, and the handle height is adjustable to you height so you do not have to stoop. There is a dust sensor on the rug attachment to show you when it is no longer pick up dust and debris. The canister is easy to empty. The cord is retractable. This vacuum performs flawlessly on rugs, carpet, and the tile floor in my apartment

Good Machine, Poor Attachments
Having replaced much of the carpet in my home with tile, I was really excited about getting this canister vacuum. My current vacuum is an upright Dyson, several years old, and it performs great on carpet, but is awkward to use, either as an upright or using the attachments, on hard flooring. This machine, with a little more design and quality, could have been great. The vacuum seems sturdy and well-built, and seems to have good suction. I love the oversized wheels. It swivels nicely and stays out of the way. The canister is easy to remove and dump, although it seems a little small, especially for those of us who have multiple shedding animals. Its downfall is the attachments. Mine came with a 2-step brush, a power turbo plus, and a parquet master, but no information about what is best for what. The only way I identified the various attachments was by comparing them to the pictures in the user manual. (The wording in the manual is sometimes a bit odd, as though the technical writer's native language is not English.) The attachments feel flimsy and cheap. I find the only one I use consistently is the "power turbo plus." It has a low and a high speed but no way to turn off the beater brush for hard floors. Yes, I could change attachments, but who wants to do that all the time when the floor is a combination of hard flooring, area rugs, and carpet?Batteries are needed but included for the dirt sensor and the controls that are on the handle of the hose. The dirt sensor is not especially effective. It often goes green (clean) when I can still see dirt on the floor. The remote controls on the handle are too high up and too sensitive. I frequently changed the power setting when I didn't intend to, just because my hand bumped the buttons. The head goes under some but not all of my low furniture. The head itself is fairly flat, but I can't angle the hose and pipe low enough. The head is also not as wide as on my Dyson, so that means more passes to cover the same area. The retractable cord is nice, but not as long as the one on my Dyson, so I have to unplug and plug more often. It does retract just as it is supposed to, though. There are two built-in tools on the end of the hose. One is a small crevice too and one is a brush, and they are always attached, just need to be flipped out from the end of the hose, easy to do. The crevice tool is handy, but not long enough to reach some of those areas where I really need a crevice tool. The brush has brush only partway around it, and does not seem as robust as I would like. It did a fairly good, but not great, job of dusting my blinds. The problem with the design is that because these tools are on the end of the hose, there isn't as much length available as if the solid pipe could be used. I couldn't reach the top of my blinds while the machine was still on the floor directly beneath the blinds. Now for the real deal breaker for me. This machine won't vacuum my large area rug, the one in the family room that gets more traffic and needs more vacuuming than any other rug in the house. It is a dense, fine pile, feels almost like dense velvet. And I can *see* the dog and cat fur on it, but I can't get it up. Not with one pass, not with two passes, not with ten passes. Very frustrating. It does a good job on some of my other rugs, especially on my Berber carpeting, and on my hard floors, but it refuses to have anything to do with the animal fur sitting on top of this rug. I have to get out my other vacuum to use on this rug, and that kind of defeats the purpose of replacing my old vacuum with one good on all my floors.

This is the worst vacuum I've ever had
This is the worst vacuum I've ever had. We bought it in July (4 months now) and I'm trying to get it in for warranty service. It has no suction at all. I can hold the open hose over a peanut on the floor and it won't suck it up. I run the power nozzle five times over the carpet before the dirt is picked up. The bagless canister gets clogged constantly; I have to empty it after every room, which is very inconvenient. The power nozzle gets "jammed" frequently, and it's very difficult to reset. I've always had canister vacuums (I love them) - this one doesn't have a way to store the attachments on the vacuum (the salesman told me it did), so it's inconvenient to carry them around with you. The power cord and the hose are too short. I would never buy this vacuum again; it's been a total waste of over $350.

I say "back to the engineering department" for a re-think.
Stupidest vacuum there is. Two speeds...Weak and Weaker. Awkward design overall. Wheels get caught on everything. Built-in vacuum brush is difficult. Motor speed control is too easy to hit by accident...It’s right on the handle where your thumb is. It is really a piece of junk. Three dog hairs fills up its dust reservoir. It turns itself on often when setting the wand down. Heavy, and rolls like a wagon full of concrete. Don’t buy one!,
