Works with iPhone 15 including data
Bought these as a bridge between my lightning cables and the new USB-C connection on the iPhone 15. Initial tests confirm that charging works fine; I haven’t tested charging speed or Amps thruput.I also tested the adapter on a cable connected to my car and confirmed that I was able to play Spotify music through the lightning cable with this adapter with no problems. I have not tested data transfer speeds but it seems to work!

Don't get these, you'll be disappointed. Just buy new cords and avoid headaches.
These seemed like a good idea. I put them on my lightning cords when I got my new iPhone15 with the USB-c connector. After a few days it seems like the phone was not getting much of a charge when plugged into these. I put my USB volt/amp meter on them and discovered it was only delivering 5 volts and 0.20 amps. Basically doing nothing. Swapped the one I was using and the other one got up to 0.6 amps. Replaced the whole thing with a new cable with USB-c end and got 5 volts and 0.8 amps. Then got a new power brick of the newest specs with the new cable and got 9 volts and about 2 amps.At least 1 of the 4 of these were defective and the others don't let much power thru. In case you aren't aware, these have a small circuit board and chip inside the end connector to manage the switchover from the lightning end to USB-c. The cable itself also has its own circuit board and chip in its end (see photo). So, when you use these, you are running things thru 2 circuit boards and 2 controller chips. It would seem the better way to go is to spend a little more and just buy a new cable and skip these adapters. At the time I discovered this problem I went ahead and bought a new latest spec high power fast charge "brick" and with it finally got 9 volts and 2 amp (18 watt) fast charging.

Only Charges at 6.98 watts - NOT Fast Charge
Purchased this for a new iPhone 15 Pro Max. Tested it with 65 watt output charger using the USB-A output port at 15 watts. As the image clearly shows this adapter/converter only will charge at 6.98 watts. Personally I would consider this to be used only for a slow over-nite charge, but that is up you. Other than the slow charge, it woks great. I looked through dozens of similar adapters on Amazon and most are advertised in this range. I bought two other brands and tested them also. The best rate I saw was 8.75 watts with the version from Wish Direct.

Excellent After IPhone Upgrade
I upgraded my IPhones from 12 to 15. These adapters are perfect and reasonably priced. No need to buy complete cable sets. They fit securely on the old cables and charge iPhones properly.

AWFUL!!
If it were possible to give this zero stars I would. It does not work. there is a reason apple hasn't come out with something similar is because it is not possible for some reason. Do not buy

Great… for a minute
Worked so well for a few weeks of use. Now the pieces are loose and won’t maintain a connection so my phone bounces on and off charge and/or Apple CarPlay. Very annoying. Just get a new cord instead of these adapters. Especially if you plug/unplug often.

Easy adapter
These adapters work great! I have so many lightening cords w/USB plugs or car chargers that I hated to go out & buy all new charge cords &/or charge blocks.

It works but it comes unplugged a lot.
So I upgraded my iPhone to the 15, and I didn’t want to throw away all my lightening cables so I tried these. It’s ok if you don’t use it while it’s plugged in charging (but then again I read it’s more dangerous with emf that way, so it’s probably best not to use while charging). When you unplug it stays stuck to your phone so I ended up taking it with my phone a few times haha. I ended up just giving my friends the lightening cables.
