Seems well made and accurate
Have had this for one day. So far I am pleasantly surprised. Mounted the scope and just out of the box it is dead on. Worried a little about the 15.4 grain gamo red fire pellets with the 20-30 mph winds here but it has shot very straight out to 30 yards. Will walk it out further over time. Looked at the YouTube on how to cock it. Yes, it is stiff. 157 pound old guy and it doesn’t seem all that bad to me. It is not lightweight in my opinion but it not excessively heavy either. Yes, nice gun, it is doing what I want and so far I am happy with it.

Price verse accuracy and dependability
First off I own a plethora of air guns from .177-45 caliber. Almost everything is a pcp except the .177. I wanted one small game air rifle that required no air tank or compressor. I have been on hunting trips where something would go wrong with my small game pcp air rifle. Packing all my other gear undoubtedly I would forget o-rings or something else. Then I would be out of a small game air rifle. I went through and did a lot of looking where I wasn’t paying a fortune for a springer air rifle but great accuracy and quick follow up shots. This gun has impressed me! I am easily removing unwanted rabbits from my neighbors garden. I have made shots at over 60 yards. I have taken down raccoon in trees with a solid head shot using H&N hornets, barracuda, and terminator pellets. The dependability, price, and accuracy make this a great air rifle. I did add a hammer 3-9x40AO scope for my springer air rifle. I didn’t want to add the rabbits I shot but once dialed in that is 30 yard group in the picture.

Pretty sweet
I gave 4 star becouse my buddy got an air rifle and his is a 22cal from a different brand and his went through 1/8" metal and my magnum didn't with the same pellets. We both paid just about the same for them too! I'm still verry happy with my swarm magnum tho. I love it's loading system. I got an extra magazine for mine so 20 rounds to shoot faster is awesome. These air rifles are awesome and do have the ability to unalive just about anything I'd say if hit right. So be careful. Definitely an adult item not for kids. They are also verry hard to cock so be warned of your disabled or something like me. I had to get creative on how I pump it. But it's a good thing becouse young children can't do it.

This ain’t your grandpa’s Red Ryder
First of all, wow. This rifle has phenomenal power. I’m new to the world of modern air rifles, and I was quite surprised by just how hard this rifle punches- and kicks for that matter. Not that it kicks as hard as even a .22 powder rifle, but I was still surprised to feel the recoil on my first few shots. So far, I have put 50 H&N Barracuda Hunter Extreme 18.52 grain hollow point pellets through the rifle, and I’ve got it pretty well sighted in. I didn’t want to use a bench since I won’t be using a bench in the real world, and it feels like the recoil might be adding some inconsistency into the equation. But then again, it’s still very accurate and I haven’t gotten it properly broken in yet, much less settled on the most accurate and consistent pellet type. The rifle is much louder than I expected, but I am not experienced enough with modern air rifles to make any determination or comparison as to how loud it “should” be.What I can say is that I bought this for eliminating pigeons in my back yard, and I went WAY overboard. I wanted something that will instantly and ethically dispatch a pigeon, and a well-placed shot with this will more than achieve that goal. But as I am in a neighborhood, this may actually be too much power and also be a bit too loud to just start plinking like I had expected. I feel a bit naive, and that I didn’t do adequate research for my specific purpose, but that should not take away from the quality or amazing-ness of this rifle.I’ve now read reviews of this thing taking out coyotes, and I do not doubt it one bit. Highly recommend for its intended purpose of hunting! Plinking pests in the back yard might warrant further consideration.

Works for me. Pellet type is key to accuracy.
I received my rifle around mid October I believe. At this point I’ve shot over 7k pellets & it is still going strong. I am a novice shooter, my targets are 3in & sit 47 yards away from my “nest”. I can’t miss the 3 in targets, though I only get a bullseye 3-4 out of 10. I have tried many pellets & although there are lead options which work with this rifle/distance I prefer not to touch lead so I don’t use. I have come to the conclusion that THE BEST option for me are copper coated lead pellets. Crosman Copper Magnum & H&N Field Target Trophy Power are both equally accurate & decently priced. My biggest issue is the optional “scope stop”. It doesn’t work very well. I wish someone would design a sturdy scope stop. This rifle is so powerful the scope won’t stay in place. Oh and regarding accuracy, I say I can’t miss 3in targets from 50 yards, but this actually depends on the pellets. Many I’ve tried I can’t even hit the target from 30 yards. THIS RIFLE LOVES CROSMAN COPPER MAG PELLETS. If you need accuracy, TRY THEMBTW - I am 5-6 &150lbs. If you can’t break this barrel, the rifle isn’t the problem. I understand it is difficult, jus man up.

Great rifle
Out of the box, worked great. This is First Gamo I've owned. I like my Hatsan and Umarex air rifles, built a Crosman custom (tack-driver at 40 yards), and a few other odd ones, but wanted to try this for the convenience of rapid loading and power. Very impressed. Cocking this takes a bit of authority though, just say'n... To Gamo; 'Good Job'
