My old English sheepdog is a big hair ball of a mess. She is the cutest and sweetest thing but she loves to lay in the mulch and pine needles and is always tangled up with something. I bought this to help keep her tangles and mats under control. It does help. It’s easy to use but it does pull and she hates it. She tries so hard to escape my grip. It has helped her coat look healthier in between grooming appointments and haircuts. I just wish she enjoyed the brush more.

This tripled function dog brush is worth the money. I think that it is a great product to purchase to groom our dog. It is a good item to groom a thick hair dog and it gets under the coat good and grooms all the dead hair from them. I would recommend this product to someone whom is looking for a great brush to groom a dogs coat.

Very sturdy brush. Must be very gentle when using as it can injure dog. Great for multi layered fur. Not a daily grooming tool.

If you have a dog with longer hair, then this will work quite well. If you have a shorter hair dog, then not so much. It's more like a 'rake' to grab on to those long hairs. I used it on my little long-haired chihuahua mix and it really did grab the hair very effectively! You do have to be careful not to comb too vigorously or it could be too rough--think rake not brush.I tried it on my son's bulldog and that was pretty useless as he has a short-hair coat.I was a little confused that the box had the US flag on it that usually indicates a product made in the US but on the Amazon page it indicates it's from China. I do like supporting USA-made products so not sure about that.I'm glad I ordered it. It's a good product that's well made and well designed.

I use this brush to help my Husky/Shep mix with his undercoat shedding. It works amazing on his legs and areas where his fur is a bit thinner. On other parts where his fur is thicker, it would help tremendously if the tines were just a bit deeper. Having said that, it still does a good job, and just requires more passes to get deeper. On a dog with slightly thinner fur than mine, or a cat, it would be perfect. There's a bit of a technique required to use this brush without pulling skin, but when you use the wider tines first and work your way into an area it does a great job. The amount of fur it pulls out is impressive! I also think the construction is excellent - it's well made and should last a long time.

Impressed with how well this works on my Great Pyrenees’s coat, especially his mane and haunches. I think the key to this is regular brushing with it. No less than once a week. I barely got a glance when working his back legs and he’s let me brush them completely.
