its just fluff over a piece of fabric £25? wish i made my own considering it blew off on the motorway

Bought this for a Zoom Q2n-4k after contacting Rycote and asking which was the correct Windjammer to get. They told me this is a perfect fit. From the product video on their site I assumed this was going to have a sticky piece of neoprene around the inside edge so this it doesn't slide, it didn't have this. As a result I though it was a fake but on contacting Rycote with Pictures I can confirm this is the original item and is how it should be. So BE WARNED, in use this slides off the Q2n. It might be great on an H1 mic but as soon as it slides I get wind noise on my videos. Also, when I pull it on it impedes use of the camera controls once the microphone grills are covered... but don't worry it will soon slide off again!The seller and delivery were perfect, the product is genuine but I do feel it is not fit for purpose. for a Q2 and I have pretty much wasted my money. The only reason for 2 stars is cos the supplier was good.

Habe für meinen Zoom H1 zum Windschutz von Rycote gegriffen.Neben vielen günstigeren Alternativen ist Rycote bereits seit Jahren für Ihre Qualität und Funktionalität bekannt, weshalb ich zu diesem Windschutz griff.Passform:Beim ersten Aufstecken des Rycote Windschutz war dies etwas kompliziert, da der Windschutz eine sehr pass genaue Form für den H1 hat (es passt kein Pop-Filter darunter). Einmal drauf gepackt, sitzt der Schutz perfekt und lässt sich auch schwer entfernen - was für mich nicht besonders schlimm ist, da ich diesen so oder so nur noch auf dem H1 drauf behalte.Nicht wie bei anderen Herstellern, verdeckt der Rycote weder Display, noch Line-In/-Out oder diverse Tasten.Funktion:Der Rycote Fell-Windschutz (Deadkitten) eliminiert alle Windgeräusche, egal wie stark. Habe dies getestet indem ich das Mikro während eines Gesprächs ein die Autolüftung (volle Leistung) gehalten habe, oder auch während eines anderen Gesprächs direkt von 3cm Abstand in das Mikro gepustet habe (in dem Moment war leider kein echter Wind vorhanden). Auf der Aufnahme waren nur die Stimmen, aber keine Störgeräusche zu hören - Somit TOP!Haart der Rycote?Nicht wirklich! Vor dem Kauf des Rycote habe ich mich stark auch über andere Deadkitten informiert, jedoch habe ich bei Deadkitten von anderen Herstellern (auch dem Zoom eigenen) gelesen, dass diese sehr gerne und viel Haaren. Im Gegensatz zum Rycote - dieser Haar so gut wie nicht! Das war natürlich sehr erfreulich, denn wer will den schon gerne Haare überall da haben, wo man erst vor hatte etwas aufzunehmen?Preis gerechtfertigt?Ja! Alles in einem wurde ich wieder von der Qualität von Rycote überzeugt - hier sieht man, was jahrelange Erfahrung im bereich Windschutz ausmacht. Die Qualität des Materials, die Passgenauigkeit und natürlich die eigentliche Aufgabe des Windschutzes wurde perfekt von Rycote gemeistert!Also lieber 10 Euro mehr ausgeben und auf Qualität des Rycote legen.
