The hat was just as described, and nicely made; I'm very happy with it. But, for the benefit of other purchasers who may not know about packable straw hats, here's a bit of advice. Your hat will probably arrive with creases, which is completely normal. To get the creases out, use a steam iron and lightly press the rim flat in sections. Let the steam itself do most of the work. Let the hat cool before moving it. To press the crown, find something in the house that is about head-shaped, and that can withstand the hot steam. Wrap this object with kitchen towels or some other closely woven fabric until it is a little less than the size of the crown. Again, use your steam iron, letting the steam do most of the work. Work your way around the crown in sections, again letting it cool before moving it. If you've done it right, your hat will be free of creases and ready to wear. Remember to make a nice hat band for it, or attach some silk flowers, as the "band" supplied is not really very nice; I'm using mine for a cat toy.

This hat fits my big head and even lets me tuck my ponytail up into it, but it has a drawstring inside the band for smaller heads than mine. The big, floppy brim keeps the Florida sun off my face and shoulders, but it never flies off in a strong wind because the brim flips up until the wind dies down. Other hats are either too floppy to keep the sun off, or they fly off at the slightest breeze. To top it off, it’s a two-pack! I have one in the garage to wear in the yard and the other in my closet for when I need to look nice.

This hat is wider than several other hat I had in the past. It can be easily folded. Has an adjustable string for the head circumference so there was no need for me to use chin strings even on a windy day. Overall I love this had.Cons:It is a bit big even after folding. The ribbon is just glued to the hat and may come off. I am use got glue gun and fix it. So I am fine with it.Pros are more than minor cons so giving 5 stars.

I’m obsessed with this hat! It packed well and kept it’s shape throughout my entire bachelorette week in Miami and when I got home to Arizona, it was still absolutely perfect! I’m taking it to my wedding as well as on our honeymoon cruise! The bow is absolutely adorable and the brim is wide enough for me to sit out without fear of tan lines.I’ve tried many “packable” hats over the years and nearly always end up throwing them away after one trip, but I know I’ll use this for a while! I don’t love the elastic chin band and don’t use it, but it is nice that they included the feature!

Sun protection is a big deal to me so I got into big hats in the last few years. This is the first one that I’ve owned that I can completely fold up into luggage, travel with that luggage for many hours, pull it out and be able to easily remove it and make it look great for wearing. I’ve also gotten it completely wet, and it has dried up beautifully and it never affects its shape. You really can manipulate it to fit the way you need it to fit. I use the strap detail to roll it up when I travel rather than keep it on it to where, which is nice and convenient.

LOVE this hat! It’s floopy, provides a break from the sun and in my opinion, is down right cute! I got with the black trim because all of my bathing suits have black and it dresses it up. I’m 5’7” and it works well. My 5’2” sil tried it today and it looked adorable on her. There’s almost a southern belle charm to this hat. Haven’t used it long enough to comment on wear but love the look of it. Also appreciate the chin strap for those windy days!

Beautiful hat. However, it's too big on my head! 😥😥 I'm going to have to buy inserts to see if it will fit snugly. Wish they made a smaller size hat!Update: I added weather stripping to the inside rim and it fit perfectly! Even in windy conditions. Got several compliments. Great looking sun hat.

Bought this hat for my vacation to Maui and it was one of the best things I packed. Not only did it fit my head well, it shaded my face and helped keep my hair from blowing around at the beach. I thought the chin strap was weird at first, but it was perfect for keeping the hat on and my hair controlled while cruising the island with the top off our Jeep.Love this hat, great purchase.

Super Hut, bin sehr zufrieden

Bought because it was packable so hat arrived folded, but then I had to figure out a way to get the creases and weird shaping out where the folds were. Steamed it with kettle which sorta worked, but not great. So is it packable....yesb but be prepared for creases and some work needed to fix them.

Der Hut ist schön, er ist aber viel dunkler als auf dem Bild, mehr gelblich und die Perlen haben auch nicht ganz die gleiche Farbe.
