Fantastic. Bought these for a crab crack dinner party. They were perfect. The scissors and plastic pieces were much sturdier than I expected. I can’t believe the great quality for the low price. Dishwasher safe, but fell through the holes in the basket so hand wash is better.

I was skeptical because of some of the reviews complaining about the quality. I find them to be high quality and sturdy construction. The scissors are a game changer. They are very sharp and cut through the shell easily to create a seam for removing crab leg meat. They can also cut through knuckles or cut legs in half at the joints. The plastic pieces are better quality than the ones at the local crab shack. We wash the stainless pieces and dry immediately to prevent rusting or oxidation. We have used, washed and dried them several times and they still appear brand new. I definitely do not put them in the dishwasher, use harsh chemicals or leave in the sink or soaking in water. I think anyone that does not think these are good quality is expecting too much. In my opinion, they are excellent quality for the price point.

I WISH I had found this set YEARS AGO!!! I used it on crab and it was AWESOME!!! The scissors cut through the shell easily and the sturdy red plastic pry tool easily opened shell parts too. I didn't even end up needing to use the shell cracking tool. The double sided spoon/fork tool could have been a little thicker and more rounded to hold it more comfortably AND I wish the spoon would have been half as wide (hence the 4 star vs 5). Overall I LOVE how much faster I was able to get the crab out of the shell to eat it ;)

We were not expecting the tools to work as well as they did—after all, the price was pretty inexpensive. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The crab cracker had no issues, the scissors cut the lobster tail well, and the picking tools helped the rest of the way. The kit does not address shrimp, but for the price, it was a steal.

Great collection of tools for eating crabs. Good value and appear to be well made. Family used them over the holidays. We’re glad to have them!
