What's with the mediocre reviews for this knife? This is a five star $20 pocket knife. If you're reviewing it from the perspective of a benchmade knife snob, get over yourself. It's a knockoff, not an original--and honestly its a pretty darn good knockoff.Action is smooth, cross-bar locking mechanism works well, blade was very sharp out of the box, extremely light compared to other similarly sized knifes, nice color. The only real drawback between this blade and a real benchmade was the finish of the blade, but really, this blade finish is as good or better than most other knives in this price range.I'd buy this knife over and over and over again. I would not buy a benchmade at all. The moderate jump in quality does not equal the hilariously massive jump in price. The benchmades I own were given to me by the Army and they're so valuable I don't like to use them. I'd rather carry a good $20 knockoff that can walk the walk and talk the talk just about as good as the $200-$300 original.You won't regret this knife, even if you lose it. You will regret the benchmade, especially if you lose it.

This is a great value. Works as intended and the action, while not as smooth as my genuine benchmade axis-lock knives, is not that far off, and with a little lubrication it works very well. The construction and materials seem generally good, but I haven't had it very long yet and may update this review in the future. I was disappointed to see that the blue color on the thumb stud is almost completely worn off on one side of the blade and it came this way, new in box. It's only a cosmetic issue, but it's irksome nonetheless. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars.

Yall spend your money the way you want. But as for me, I’ve compared these to $300 bugouts and there’s no difference. If I lose this one, it can easily be replaced. Opens an Amazon package as fast as the ridiculously priced one.

This knife is ok. It's very sharp! Not sure how it compares to an original Bugout knife because I don't have one. I can't open or close it with one hand yet, partly because it's a little tight, and I don't want to mess up and cut myself. The plastic on the knife had some flashing on the edges, and I smoothed it out with fine sandpaper and a nail file. It's bigger than I thought it would be, and next time I will try a mini bugout style.

I got censored for the 1st time on this one! So I better mind my manners (ha).It was light and sharp and had a lotta blade play so I did not like it.........Could not eliminate the play w/o making the action stiff.'Jus sayin' - these censors are very strict

I did not expect a great knife at this price, but it is worth it. I had my sights on the Benchmade Bugout, but it is too expensive, and I already have a Griptillian. The appeal of a very light knife was irresistible so I opted for this clone. It is exactly what I wanted for a pocket knife. You can use the clip or just put it in your pocket and it's as if it's not there, which will allow me to carry the thing all day ready for any Amazon box that's taped to the extreme. I disassembled it and applied oil but must have swapped the spacers during reassembly because the blade is a tad off. It came blade centered and sharp.

This feels EXACTLY like my Benchmade. Excellent quality and a perfect EDC knife. I will be purchasing other colors.Thanks
