Overtime the aluminum spike will bend and the latches at the top because they are plastic the'll pop up because of a wind and even if you put it back like we did still comes right out and you are not able to use it anymore, after 4 uses is going to the garbage can

Best canopy for the beach we’ve had. We took it to Portugal for our vacation and it was far superior than anything else on the beach. The sun protection is perfect with the 50 rating. The best part is the super easy pop up and pop down. Even sturdy in the wind!

I purchased this cabana last summer but finally got to use it for the first time this weekend. Unfortunately the clasps at the top of the umbrella portion popped out of place rendering the cabana useless. I would really love to give the cabana 5 stars as it is portable and pretty light, but I am disappointed with the sturdiness of the product and cannot find a replacement for the piece :(

We love it, but it got caught in the wind and bent the post that goes into the sand :(.

Just took this product to the Gulf Coast. Perfect size for 2 persons. great hybrid shade structure. size of a market umbrella, opens like a pop-up tent,but lightweight. Has top vent to allow breeze to escape without blowing up. Corner straps had sand bags built in to keep the structure in place.I've had experience with:- Pop-up canopies, heavy require more than 1 person and can fly away.- Umbrellas - usually fly away or get twisted and structure breaks- Sport Shade tent - too closed up doesn't hold up at the the beach.- Neso Shade structure, cans require multiple positioning during the day or heavy wind. it stretches out huge - and eventually your either a beach hog or others camp within strings

This beach umbrella is a fine size to shade children but it's a bit small for adults. It has a single pole that gets staked in the sand or ground and pocketed corners to hold ballast sand or rocks. It won't hold up very well in a strong breeze but that's a true for all single pole umbrellas.Canvas is vibrantly striped and has enough opacity for sun protection but isn't full opaque.The whole thing ends up being about six feet in each dimension, so you'll have to prioritize what gets kept in the shade or not lay down. We recently had a beach day and used our 8x8 pop up canopy for people and reserved this smaller sun shade for coolers. It worked out well for that use. It's also quite compact when stowed, about the sizeof a baseball bat bag or kids's golf club bag.I think it's a little pricey for what you get but it isn't ridiculously overpriced.

Similar to other reviews, my family was very excited to use this for a beach vacation. The first time using it, one of the nubs that connects the arms at the top popped out and we could not get it back in while on the beach. We thought we fixed it before the next use, got it set up on the beach and it popped out again. Very disappointed with the quality of construction.
