Works could have been a little bigger.
The actual part that turns and locks over the stationary part could have been slightly bigger to cover the whole clasp.Does come with a small tool to set your own code which was very simple to do .Recieved it the next day after ordering.

Great for rentals or to make it clear that this cabinet is off limits.INSTALL: Changing the password was easy and instructions were clear. The actual installation of the locking mechanism onto the cabinet could be clearer & include better pictures. For example, if installing lock on the right cabinet rather than the left, it changes the position of the flap. I made this mistake.Overall, great product.

Great replacement for a padlock.
We have a storage room in the basement that we use a pad lock on when repairmen, etc. are in our home or we are on vacation. It was always a hassle to hide the key, but now we can just leave this small combination lock on the door and not deal with a key. It is pretty much the same size as our padlock setup.We preferred using our own, longer screws on the side that you install on the door frame. Make sure you have the piece with the combination lock on it rotated in the correct direction, or the metal latch won’t lay flat and you won’t be able to turn the lock into the closed position.(Excuse all the chipped paint on the door. I took the pic before the new paint. )

No batteries required
I like that this lock set doesn't require batteries or power. This mechanical lock is great for those remote areas that need more security. This lock doesn't require a key to open just a code. I would recommend this lock for that added security project.
