This is a very pretty winter jacket. The small is true to size, fits even better than other winter jackets I just got that are not as slimming. Since its so lightweight it lays really nice. Can still wear a sweater underneath. It includes a deep inside zip pocket and the hood is both adjustable and detachable. I love the unique color that is a mix of grayish silver and white. I will add to the review after the winter months to speak on its warmth.Updated review: This was nice to wear in the winter. Its warm for temps as low as 30 degrees but honestly I'd wear a warmer fill if its colder than that. I tend to be slightly cold natured in general. If you are hot natured you would be fine but if you are average to cold sided, colder winter temps outside in the northeast would mean a heavier down coat required if spending time outside. I do not think this could be substantial for a long walk on a freezing day below 30 degrees. I hadn't tried it but based on how I felt with a knit sweater underneath I think after awhile I would get chilly.update Jan 2023: Still really like the jacket for winter and still have to say would not wear in colder temps. I don't know if its losing its fill but definitely would have to wear layers underneath. I was actually surprised its 700 fill.

After returning several down jackets, I found the perfect one, so I bought one for my daughter too! Gorgeous soft, fluffy, thick and toasty warm. The fleece lined hood and pockets are a nice extra. The high quality is immediately apparent. We love them! I got the dark gray color (large) and it’s gorgeous and fits perfectly.

I bought this jacket as a gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. She wore it on a trip to Colorado and it kept her warm and was comfortable. It doesn’t weigh a lot which is a plus because she hates big bulky jackets. I have owned other Marmot products as well and have always gotten great durability and comfort as well as looking good.

Love the weight, detachable hood, and super warm

I’ve been searching for a warm jacket and went through trying a few. This one by far is the warmest and also looks good on. I got a size small and very happy with the fit. There’s some extra room for a sweater and layers but not so much room that I feel a draft.

Love this coat. Can’t believe how warm, soft and comfortable it is. Great for northern MI winters! Definitely recommend.

I live in Florida, am a cold weather wimp, and needed something to keep me warm for a trip to Norway. This jacket was perfect for my needs! Lightweight, warm, and bonus was it looked great! I played with reindeer, chased the northern lights, made snow angels and this jacket kept up with all my activities and still looks great after 2 weeks of non stop use. This will be my go to jacket for all cold weather activities.
