Hair Length Can Make a Huge Difference With This Pillow
The Kanuda Andante caught my attention specifically because of the CV4-inspired design. I first became interested in that sensation after using a Pilotfish No Tail glasses strap. The small rubber grips happened to sit near the mastoid area behind my ears, and when the strap was tightened, I noticed a deeply relaxing sensation that often made me sleepy. Once I realized how helpful that feeling was for me, I began looking for a way to recreate it specifically at bedtime. That search eventually led me to CV4 techniques and then to the Kanuda Andante, one of the few pillows I found that explicitly mentioned CV4 as part of its design. At around $250, this was a very hard purchase to justify for a pillow. Still, the sensation had been game-changing enough for me that I decided to try it. At first, the Andante worked exactly as I had hoped. Over time, however, the effect became weaker and weaker until it was almost nonexistent. I eventually stopped using it because it felt like it had become little more than a very expensive neck-support pillow. So why am I giving it five stars? I recently got a mid-fade haircut and removed roughly five or six inches of hair. The next time I used the Andante, the original sensation returned with force. My hair had been growing since the previous fall, and the increasing length and thickness had apparently been creating more of a barrier between my head and the pillow’s pressure points. Because the change happened gradually, I assumed the pillow itself had become less effective. I cannot say whether everyone with long or thick hair will have the same experience, but for me, longer hair reduced the effect to the point that it was barely noticeable. That is something I wish I had understood sooner, and it is worth considering before spending this much on the pillow. With shorter hair, though, the Andante once again does exactly what I purchased it to do. For me, the effect is powerful, relaxing, and genuinely helpful at bedtime.

Lifesaving pillow for people with connective tissue problems / surgical history
I have EDS (type 8) and have had chiari decompression surgery and various other ailments related to c spine / shoulders / neck and pillows from this company have been the only thing to ever not cause me to wake up in more pain every morning. I think they’re excellent quality and design and worth the price for people with serious neck issues / connective tissue disorders / surgical history etc.

it is worth the money
This pillow is worth the money. It cured my neck and trapezius pain. it has an adjustable height and allows you to sleep on your side or back with your neck perfectly aligned. i have tried 7 pillows over past decade. this is the best one.

If It Suits Your Dimensions…
I purchased this pillow directly from the company and ended up returning it. This pillow is excellent-it just didn’t cradle my head in a position I liked when I slept on my back. My jaw would sink downward and I’d end up sleeping with a straightened neck, which is what I’m trying to un-do. The point on the neck’s cradle where it’s supposed to tilt your head back sits too short to reach my neck. Sleeping on my side with this pillow though was absolutely delicious-such a welcome relief! It’s for that reason I’m going to try their other pillow. The pillow’s materials seem exceptionally durable as well. Give it a whirl if you sleep on your back with a really low pillow.

Not worth the money!
Wish I never threw out the Amazon box, should’ve tried the pillow first! It’s hard as a rock!! $300 for this… it’s narrow, and too low, feels like a brick. Gives me more neck pains. Throwing it in the trash

The only pillow I’ll ever need
I normally don’t write reviews but after experiencing how much we enjoyed these Kanuda pillows, i felt i had to share. My husband and i have both struggled with neck and shoulder pain for years, and we’ve gone through more pillows than i can count: memory foam, contour, cooling, even ones labeled “orthopedic.” None of them really made a difference. When our Kanuda pillows arrived, we immediately noticed the attention to detail. The box itself felt premium, and the thank-you note was a nice touch. Everything was neatly packaged, and the pillows expanded perfectly within minutes of being unwrapped. From the first night, the difference was clear. The pillow feels supportive yet soft, gently keeping the neck and shoulders aligned without any stiffness. We both woke up without the usual tightness or tension, which hasn’t happened in a long time. The shape feels natural, not forced, like it was designed to work with your body rather than against it. I wasn’t sure about the silky pillow cover at first, but it stays cool and comfortable throughout the night, and now I actually love it. It adds to the sense of calm when you lie down. It’s only been a short time, but both of us are sleeping better and waking up with less strain. This feels like a pillow that was truly designed with care, something that prioritizes comfort, alignment, and lasting relief.

Firmer than I thought but worth it
First night on the pillow and I woke up with no tension headache or migraine pain for the first time since I can remember. It's harder/firmer than I'm used to, I didn't like that, but I'll get used to it if it means no more pain
