I highly recommend this product. I know it's expensive but you will be happy with the look of your truck after it is installed. It wasn't that hard to install, also I like that it's strong and it's going to keep thieves out of my bed.,

2021 Tundra SR5 short bed.This was a VERY easy install. Once the side rails went up it was smooth sailing. I have a drop in bed liner and didn’t have to do any trimming. That may not be the case for every drop in bed liner so be aware of that. The instructions were straight forward and there are plenty of videos to watch for visual aid. I also have a bed extender and it fits perfectly with the tonneau cover. I am very satisfied with the design and how it all came together, start to finish.

This is my 2nd roll top. Prior was a Bak x2 from 2016. Which I loved and time for a new one.Packaged arrived in decent shape. A little beat up but nothing major with only 1 small puncture in box.When installing the top, rolling it out. Noticed one side of the end cover for the top was missing. The other side was broken off as shown in photo. Everything was wrapped up nice and looks original from the factory. So quality control checker must have been sleeping that day.Not happy about this at all. Called customer service at Bak ind. The person said that's unusual..... parts are in stock.They are sending new parts in the mail soon. Hopefully the rt ones.The top material is nicer than prior but it's not as strong as prior model. The older model was beefier and heavier. This will work and still function as I intend to use it for. Like the new system for keeping the aluminum bars in place. Much more solid and should last longer.I'll change my overall rating later if and when the correct parts arrive.Update 5/28. Parts arrived today to correct the situation. Changed to 5 stars. Really like the cover and worked great over vacation.

For the most part this is a great cover. There are, however, a couple of issues that I’ve noticed that aren’t major but warrants mentioning.The pros:First, the cover was easy to assemble. Working alone it took me between 45 minutes to an hour to install the rails and cover. Another thing is the cover is that it simply looks great. I’ve had other truck owners compliment me on how good it looks. Pretty much all the compliments have been from people that currently have the soft covers. Also, I have no rattling or noise when I’m driving; it fits my bed like a glove.The cons:The tube mounted underneath the cover that guides the wire that releases cover has popped out. I plan to go to the hardware store a get a same screw to secure it. At times the rods that act as a prop when the cover is fully opened will fall from the little holders when they’re not in use. This is not to be confused with them coming off while they are propping up the cover. They are very secure. Another issue is that I’ve had to fish a screw or two from the bed an resecure them to the underside of the cover. Lastly, the cover in not completely waterproof. This wasn’t a deal breaker because going in I knew that it was a possibility that it wouldn’t be waterproof since I’ve read mixed reviews regarding this issue. The manufacturer does not guarantee the product to be waterproof, however, some people have had success in the area. It has been my experience that rain will permeate the edges of the cover especially when it’s sitting in the rain. When driving through rain, the rain washes right off before it seeps down through the cover. The amount of water isn’t all that bad; if I had to guess I would say it’s about the equivalent of having two cups of water splashed in the bed and almost always just near the edges so I try to put items that need to stay dry towards the center.Overall, it’s a really nice cover and in the seven or so months I’ve owned it the minor issues I’ve had with the product is far outweighed by the utility, look, and convenience of having the BAKFlip.

Product seems quality and sturdy. No issues with the install. People complain about the instructions, but they were fine for anyone with some sense of building. People complain about leaking but you can clearly see areas of opportunity when it comes to leaks. I used a little clear caulk in the corners. Yes it gets a few drips in the bed, but it’s 98.9% dry. Recommend getting a 3/4 drill bit to drill the drain tubes in the rubber grommets. Overall, like the fit and quality. Looks great. Replaces my other big bulky tonneau cover. Pricey for sure, but it’s meant to last a lifetime and you get what you pay for.

I bought this for my husband's 2016 Toyota Tundra Crew Max. He was able to install it himself, but it did take a couple of hours since he doesn't have experience with this. He did adjust it a couple of times to ensure it was weather proof. His track system and bed liner seemed to be the biggest issue with it taking time. Since it has been installed, he had loved it! It is excellent quality and does not leak! I was anxious about spending this amount off money, but I'm so glad I did! My husband said that it is heavy duty, but the weight is manageable. As far as stability goes, it does not move once installed. This item will give you the best value for your money.

Absolutely love this tonneau cover on my 2007 Toyota Tundra Limited.Fits perfectly.Warning: You do have to remove the factory rails on the box. The cover does come with a extension kit so you can reuse the rails BUT my rails didn’t want to come out and the bolts stripped out. I ended up cutting them out and couldn’t reuse the rail after. So if the rail is important to you make sure you can remove the bolts 1st before you purchase the cover.

2 reasons im giving this product 5 stars1. Cover is really nice, fits and looks great. It very functional and easy to install and use. Definitely meets the expectations. Some people say its leaky but not in my case, i wonder if they installed it right2. It was delivered DAMAGED by purolator. Purolator delivered it and it must have been hit with something in transport (its a long box and i guess it fell over on them) and one of the rails got bent and damaged. We managed to hammer it straight so it can be installed but it had visible damage we couldnt fix. I emailed AutoEQ and told them what happened and they responded within minutes asked a few questions and for a picture and sent me a WHOLE new set of rails!!!! I received it promptly and couldnt be happier with AutoEQ service5 stars are combination of product and service i received from these guysThings happen in shipping, i get it , its how different companies deal with it and these guys are A+I recommend the product and recommend AutoEQ

The cover was easy to install and was a good fit. Better than the Roll-N-Lock I had before. I hope it lasts as long.
